If truth were an ocean would it fit in the pool of a human mind?

 Work trip

I "had" to take a trip for work this past week to the area of Avila, California. I took along my camera because it was a gorgeous day. It was sunny, even if bit cold and windy because a bank of fog was hovering just off the coast, but it was a spring day when you just HAVE to have your camera with you! The poppies were in bloom!

Thank you, Simone. I agree that Van Gogh would have liked it - Monet too. Yes, the name of the flower is the California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica), and it is the official state flower of California, so I better know it! Well, I did NOT know the Latin name - I had to look that up! ;)
