"Strawberries, cherries and an angel kissing spring..."Made from all these things! It is so HOT here in California that our electricity keeps shutting off! It was 110° F (about 43° C). Now that summer is finally here, it's time for some "Summer Wine." If you don't have this video featuring the Corrs with Bono, click HERE. I became a fan from this CD since I was familiar with Bono of U2, but not familiar with the Corrs. "When The Stars Go Blue" made me a fan!

Hehe, nice bottle of summer wine. Here it´s about 35°C at the moment but it feels like more ´cause there´s no wind out there today! Just had a two hours drive with my car (which has got no air condition)...exhausting in this heat. But I´m not complaining because I still prefer summer. I´m so happy it´s nice outside again. I really am more of a summer person myself. I got most of the songs from "LID" as video files. ;D I so love this concert. And "When the stars go blue" still makes me shiver.

Yes, I did, Andypandy. It’s NOT the first song of the Corrs that I heard, because I had heard “Breathless” on the radio while not really knowing anything about the Corrs. I thought "Breathless" was a highly-polished song and that it sounded a little bit like a Wilson Phillips or Shania Twain song. I have since come to appreciate “Breathless” much more after seeing how brilliant the Corrs are when performing it, but it wasn’t the song that made me a fan. It’s hard to explain, but there was something about the "When the Stars Go Blue" performance that convinced me that Andrea has SOUL. I first listened to the song because I was on a U2 kick at the time, having bought All That You Can’t Leave Behind CD and the U2 Live in Boston DVD. After I heard WTSGB, I knew right at that moment that I wanted to find out more about the Corrs and listen to all of their music. Within a couple of weeks from that moment, I owned lots of Corrs CDs!

haha within HOW many weeks did you own a lot of their CDs? hahaha ;D Well within about two weeks I had Forgiven Not Forgotten; In Blue; Borrowed Heaven; and Talk On Corners (U.S. Special Ed.). I had a very hard time getting Unplugged, but I finally found a combo with Best Of many months later. Swanny helped me get the Talk On Corners (European Special Ed.); and In Blue (Special Edition). Not long ago, I finally found the Australian edition of Borrowed Heaven with the song "Miracle." The regular edition of Talk On Corners was very hard to get because the record shop sent me the U.S. Special Edition twice by mistake. Hey, who did actually write "Summer wine"? "Summer Wine" was written by Lee Hazlewood in 1967. (Credited on Live in Dublin as "Hazelwood"). It was performed by Nancy Sinatra and you can hear a clip HERE.
