:)Here you have a little story of mines...hope you enjoy
The first time I heard The Corrs was on TV. It was Summer Sunshine and it sounded very cool. It was something I never heard before, you know, one of those things that leave you Breathless and stunned. I didn`t know who was singing but the thought of how beautiful were those three women went through my mind. I barely couldn`t wait to see the band`s name at the end so I could buy the CD but when I saw it I couldn`t remove it from my mind. I went the next day to the music shop of my neighbourhood and I bought Borrowed Heaven. The music was incredible and I wasn`t able to stop from hearing it on and on. From then on my vision of life totally changed;for good, of course.
Days were passing and I was waiting for The Corrs to perform in Spain and that day finally came.......and I was thrilled. The only problem was that they were acting in Mallorca and I was living near Madrid. I`m not very good at traveling and I had to catch a plane and a boat, not to mention a couple of busses to get to the concert. After some days studying the map I marked a good and short path to Mallorca. I had a friend there that lived near the place the concert was going to be and I asked him on messenger to take me there when I arrived. The thing is he hated The Corrs and I hardly persuaded him to lead me to the concert. When I took the ship to Mallorca and I arrived I took a wrong street and I got lost. The concert hour was each time closer an closer and I had no idea where I was. I called him my friend but he couldn`t help me neither and I told him to go there without me and to wait me with the hope that I would find my way through (as he was living in Mallorca he was the one to buy the tickets). Finally I never got to see the concert ( and to tell you the truth I was very very angry for this because it cost me a lot of money and I didn`t see it). After calling my friend again to tell him I was on the ship for home (because I could find the dock again) he told me that while he was waiting on a desert street near the concert stadium he saw a car getting closer and 5 people got out of it. As he had a poster of The Corrs he noticed that in fact it was them. As he didn`t like their music he didn`t care much but when one of the members saw my friend and told him to get closer to sign his poster he obeyed. He later told me it was Caroline who asked him to get closer for all of them to sign.
I asked him if he would send me the poster because I was the one who invited him and had the idea to go to the concert in the first place. He REFUSED saying that he also started to like The Corrs and the poster was his. I couldn`t believe my ears: I had such a bad luck because I got lost, spent all that money on the concert tickets and on the plane, ship and all that and he gets to have all the fun??He hated The Corrs and know he loves them, he saw the concert and met The Corrs in person. He even has their autographes for heavens sake. I stoped talking to him ever since and I still can`t believe the bad luck I had that day. That was the worse day of my life.
