I sure cannot sing those lyrics. I still have a hard time with "Lagan Love" and that's sung in English! I always mishear lyrics. To me, it sounds like she sang a little something about the Beatles. ;D I sure think that the Gaelic songs sound beautiful, though.

Yeah they're great! And I have to admit that they're much much harder to sing along with than other music I know in another language! hahaha ;D But one day Steve! One day we'll be standing in the first row and SING ALONG! YAY! Oh hahaha, just imagine you'd be at a karaoke bar and it's your turn and you'd have to sing in gaelic! hahahahahahahaha now that'd be funny, wouldn't it? ;D

I also tried to sing along to Buchaill on Eirne, ´cause that´s by far my favourite of the gaelic songs When Home was new I put the songs on my mp3-player and listened to them every day on the train to school. I also had a piece of paper with the gaelic lyrics of Buchaill on Eirne with me and played this song again and again, all the time. I listened to the lyrics and read them on my paper at the same time. It´s quite difficult to pronounce it correctly, because the words aren´t pronounced the same way that they´re written. But, after some time I got it, well, I didn´t sing along aloud, haha, that would have been funny in the train, but I still remember parts of the lyrics.

wow!!! So you really can saaaaaaay aprts of the lyrics? *impressed* haha ;D Is it actually correct how Andrea sings the song? I once read a ...well...not too nice discussion about that song where Andrea was blamed for singing the song as she probably learned it at school and not saying each word exactly right. I think that's rather mean what those people are saying! Don't you think? I mean it's a really hard language, isn't it?

I believe my main problem is that every time I try to say ( not even talking about singing here) one of the Gaelic words I start to mumble because I am afraid someone might be listening which is pretty paranoid because I doubt someone´s listening when I am alone in my flat. ( Claiming that I don´t have a stalker.) So anyway, with this knowledge, I guess, you can imagine that it´ll never be possible for me to learn the Gaelic words. Haha. Now, seriously, it is such a complicated language. It seems somehow that each word is pronounced just that way that you believe it can´t be pronounced *lol*. I am very proud that I am now able to say the name Saoirse (Thanks Cecelia. *lol* Seeeeeerrrr...shaaaa...) But one of the Gaelic songs? No chance.
