Here's what AnCorr (Micha) had to say about it after he attended the POPKOMM promotional event in Berlin: They [Jim and Caroline] also talked about the new DVD called All The Way Home. There will be a documentary on it which lasts about 100 min. There will be scenes of The Corrs very beginning on it. Actually, they don't like that scenes, because it's a very different style of music as what they are playing now. But this was meant more in a funny way. We then could watch a few minutes from the beginning of the DVD. It really seems that it will be a very interesting documentary. I real must have for every fan!And as I posted elsewhere the early product description at Sendit.com is as follows: All The Way Home tells the complete story of The Corrs rise to fame, in the words of the band themselves, plus long-standing manager John Hughes, illustrated with many unseen early snapshots from the family archive, hilarious demo material and behind the scenes footage. Also includes a live concert from Geneva recorded in 2004 (20 tracks).

Hey, Tiff, As far as I am aware, there is COMPLETE SILENCE about the All The Way Home: The Story of the Corrs/Live in Geneva DVD being released in the United States. We are beginning to believe that, like the Unplugged DVD, it won't EVER be released in the U.S. However, if we are lucky, a Region 1 version could be released in Canada, which we MIGHT be able to obtain as an import. It is a time of great celebration for Corrs fans in Europe with the new album and the new DVD ;D and we Americans share that joy and we're buying our imports of Home. However, at the same time, there has been a lot of sadness for Corrs fans in America, to which some other Corrs fans simply cannot relate or sympathize. At the CorrBoard, a few people even post nasty messages in response to saddened American fans. When it comes to the new All The Way Home DVD, given the region-coding situation, we North Americans may be out of luck for quite a while, unless we purchase region-free DVD players! We now know that a major tour in support of the Home album, according to Jim Corr, will not happen. This probably means that there may be at most only a few gigs in Ireland, the UK and across the Channel in Europe... but probably not anywhere far away like North and South America, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Indonesia, Australia, etc.... I think Jim said that they plan to record - at a nice concert venue (such as the Royal Albert Hall) - a live performance of the songs from Home as an alternative to a tour, which is difficult for Caroline at this time. When this DVD of the Home performance comes out, will the Americans be left out again?? We hear that the Corrs may be looking for a new record company since their contract with Atlantic Records has come to an end. We can only hope that a new contract will improve the situation for all of the "have-nots" around the world. Maybe in a year or two we'll see a Region 1 version of the All The Way Home DVD. We Americans must also keep in mind that, when it came to the VH-1 Live in Dublin CD, the tables were turned and it was the Europeans who were the "have-nots."

I'm in a good mood. Can't you tell? I found out that the All The Way Home DVD won't be released in North America (Canada) until "sometime in 2006" instead of the original date of December 6, 2005. But the good news is that at least they plan to release it someday if only in Canada!

Man...do they (Atlantic records) do that to tease you? I mean...after all the success of "Home"...shouldn´t they have found out by now that it´d maybe be a good idea to release more Corrs stuff in North America, too?! Or do you think that it actually IS due to the success of "Home" and that they maybe wanna concentrate on promo in Europe to then be able to dedicate their concentration to the American market?!

I would REALLY like to think that Atlantic Records has up their sleeve some great U.S. promotional campaign planned for the Spring of 2006, after the European promotion has concluded. I'm not saying concerts, but advertising and television appearances. The alternative is too sad: that we Corrs fans in America have more faith in the Corrs than their own record company. If this is true, then (as CorrBoarder Mitch says) it's time that Atlantic sell their rights to the Corrs' music in the United States and let somebody else try who DOES believe in them.

There are many musicians and groups that produce their own CDs.......but I also know that many of them didn't have much success with that Do you think that there are many well-known record companies that give their clients a free-hand?

They also do this normaly with movies. they wait for like half a year before also releasing them in Europe after the US. Still its sauer for you guys. you cant play the european disks, then you could just order it online maybe? I also see there will be dutch subtitles? wow we're on the map of the corrs

That is GREAT news! Thanks, Andypandy! Warner U.S. sure seems to take delight in baffling Corrs fans: "no you DON'T get Home, but you DO get All The Way Home." Figure that one out! But I'm not complaining! But, hey, only 5 more days for the fans with Region 2 players! ;D
