At first, my story with the corrs begins July 16th, 1999. I am go to visit a friend girl in Dublin, as I like R.E.M ., it was the occasion of go to see them in concert to Lansdown road, at the end of the concert of R.E.M. my friend suggests me staying a little more because she had places for a concert the next day and especially that I shall not regret it.The concert was in lansdown road, and my friend my said that it was an Irish group (Remenber you of date), I have at once to think of U2, but not it was The corrs.I didn't know and I became a fan. Here is how I knew the corrs. Not bad not!!I'm rather proud to have known The Corrs during the mitique concert, especially this weekend well remains to anchor in my memories Affectionately. Bernard

That's REALLY quite amazing, Bernard, that you discovered the Corrs on the eve of probably their most legendary concert - Lansdowne Road - and you were able to be there!! Fantastic!! ;D Tell us all you remember!! I'm not fortunate like you were. I discovered the music of the Corrs and became a big fan in late 2004: immediately after the Corrs (without Caroline) left the U.S. leg of their Borrowed Heaven tour: what has turned out to be their very last time in the U.S. Did you get to see them perform again (maybe in France) after Lansdowne Road in 1999?

Steve: As you can see we are increasingly likely to be culture and different languages; I will therefore propose an idea that I just had, it would be to set up a special topic for no-English speaking;Just for that persons not English as national languages can talk to each other in their own languages. What do you think?
Kisses at all Bernard

Know I'm late but welcome !!
Good to have another "Lansdowne Roader" in our ranks (and another who did the REM/Corrs double !!). My first live Corrs experience was actually a little earlier (Glastonbury Festival).
Not too sure abt having a non-English speaking thread as we'll all start going on in our own native languages (Germans, French, Indonesian, myself in Afrikaans) with no-one else understanding !!
Would be interested to hear yr thoughts on LR.
