Hey Sarah Andrea, I really like Luar Na Lubre! It's wonderful music. Wow!! Thanks for telling me about them. I went to their MySpace site and www.myspace.com/luarnalubregaliza listen to "Centeas" and "Canto de andar" Beautiful! @sanna - I went to some of those links but on many of them I couldn't find my way to the music due to my problems with not understanding the language. Is there a particular phrase that I should look for to click on?

Thanks for your list, Simone. Some real great ones! There are a some on your list that I haven't heard, though, so you have me curious. I loooooove Roxette and I'm a huge fan, but "it must have been love, but it's over now" for a wedding? (I might add "You Take My Breath Away" by Eva Cassidy and "Songbird" by Fleetwood Mac. ) Great list! ;D

Very cool that you revived this topic! ;D Those of yours that I know are good ones!
A few ancient (for you, at least) songs that I would select for your topic would be "Feelin' Stronger Every Day" by the band called Chicago and "Already Gone" by the Eagles.
"Kite" by U2 might be another breakup song, but one where the person is more reluctant to break up. Others in that vein would be "Don't Wanna Lose You Yet" by Bertolf. That reminds me of another one by Gloria Estefan called "Don't Wanna Lose You Now":
