okay, I bought it today And my first impression: Awesome! i guess I'll tell you more about the album when I listened to it more often but my very first impresseion: great! hehe What i like most is that EVERY single band-member sings at least ONE song on lead vocals! Deen Castronovo (drums) even two! Of corrs, most of the songs sings vocalist Steve Augeri, and he does a great job, as always hehe, but I was really suprised of the great voice of Deen castronovo! Ross Valory, Neal Schon and Jonathan Cain also sing one song Awesome! And Steve Augeri joins some song with an acoustic guitar hehehe. Okay, I'll tell you more about it, later

I loved Jonathon Cain & Neil Schon. The Escape album was a classic my junior year!!! I still am partial to the Infinity album probably because it was the first one I ever heard, and it completely blew me away! My brother heard about this band from the Bay Area and bought the album. It will always be a special album for me. "Lights" (what a guitar solo!); "Wheel In The Sky"; "Feeling That Way/Anytime"; "Patiently" are all GREAT songs! I just love "Feeling That Way"... the great interplay on vocals between Gregg Rolie and a young Steve Perry and another brilliant guitar solo. But, yes, I also like the Journey music after Rolie departed and Steve Perry came into his own. Here's a picture of Neil Schon that was taken just this summer in Paso Robles, California: And did you know, Scott, that for a brief period of time, Randy Jackson (yes, the one from American Idol, dog!), played on tour with Journey?!

No I never knew that - what did Randy play? What artist has Randy produced for? Randy Jackson played bass guitar and did some vocals with Journey on the Frontiers (1983) and on the Raised On Radio (1986) albums. I didn't know this until I bought a Jouney Greatest Hits DVD and saw him performing on "Be Good To Yourself" and "Girl Can't Help It." I found an article on Randy Jackson HERE. I know he worked with Mariah Carey in the past.
