It's a rather slow time for the Corrs, since they are living their private lives at the moment, and we just have to be patient. That doesn't mean that we stop enjoying music. Brownie suggested some type of thread where we can discuss the music that we are currently listening to and liking. Whose music have you been listening to? What are your current favourite songs? This thread is to allow you to recommend artists or songs to the other members. If the songs or artist can be found at MySpace, give us the link, too.

Okay, I'll start. I found out about an artist from San Diego, California. Her name is Saba. I really like her song called "Fuel." Too bad these are hot dogs and not Currywurst! Here is her MySpace profile: www.myspace.com/sabaloo

Another artist that I stumbled upon is Brooke White - who is from Mesa, Arizona, but now lives in Los Angeles and is trying to make it in the business. I think she does a great cover of the Aerosmith classic "Dream On." I like her list of "influences." Brooke WhiteBrooke White's MySpace profile is: www.myspace.com/brookewhite

Oh, this is fabulous, Steve. Now I want to have a Hot Dog!!! (With a lot of Danish Hot Dod Sauce and roasted onions...hhhhmmmmmm....) Ok, at the moment I find myself listening to Rebecca Lavella and Lisa Chappell a lot. Both known through the Australian tv series "Mc Leod´s daughters". Lisa played the character of Claire in that show and left in order to finish her album "When then is now" while Rebecca is THE VOICE of Mc Leod´s for she sings the soundtracks. Bec Lavelle´s MySpace: www.myspace.com/beclavelle Lisa Chappell´s MySpace: www.myspace.com/lisachappellI am also enjoying the new album by the Dixie Chicks a lot. It is full of emotion. It´s a little miracle box filled with strenght. The MySpace of the Dixie Chicks: www.myspace.com/dixiechicks

Also, have you ever heard of the Scottish singer/songwriter Eddi Reader? I bought her album "Angels & Electricity" years ago and I am still discovering new sides to it. (God, I remember how importing that CD was so very complicated. It was shipped from Scottland to the USA to Germany and then the friend who got it for me send it to me.) Here´s a link to her website (Cause I never found out whether she has a MySpace.): www.eddireader.co.uk/

Those are all very good singers - Natalie, Rebecca, Lisa and Eddi. I did find song of Eddi Reader's called "Patience of Angels" at an "unofficial" MySpace profile here: www.myspace.com/eddieddi . You are right; she is a great singer. I remember you either telling me about her before or reading somewhere that you liked her and checking out her website. Great choices, Swantje!

I agree with you, Caro! Tessa Bickers sounds great both her voice and the way the piano and guitar are so "integrated", and I like "Don't Hold On." Okay how 'bout a male artist. I will put in a good word for Randy Coleman. www.myspace.com/randycolemanI saw him open for Bryan Adams and Def Leppard in June 2005, and he was really good. Try "Goodbye Renee" or "Where There Is Love There Is War".

Hey, I think I should join this discussion now. Ok, what I´m listening to now, besides The Corrs is of course Lisa Chappell, Rebecca Lavell, Juanes, Jewel, Dixie Chicks, Katie Melua, ... That´s all I can think of at the moment, but I think if I would head upstairs to have a look at my cd´s, I could name some more, hihi.

Tara BlaiseShe is an Irish singer/songwriter. Her album "Dancing on Tables Barefoot" is amazing. She wrote all the songs on the album with John Hughes. www.myspace.com/tarablaiseI don't know if her MySpace profile is official, so here's a link to her official website. www.tarablaise.comDon Johnson Big Band(They are not a big band and they don't have anything to do with Don Johnson. *lol*) They are a Finnish band. Their music is mix between rap, hip hop, techno, jazz and rock/pop. They are amazing live. I've been to their concert twice and I'm going to see their concert again in two weeks. www.myspace.com/donjohnsonbigband
