I'm glad you enjoyed that, Linda! ;D In my various explorations into music from all over the world, I came across this bit of music by Austrian singer Florian Horwath with an assist by Swedish singer Nina Persson of the Cardigans. HQInteresting voice, huh? The scenery is from Southern Sweden. This song was produced by Christoffer Lundquist at the Aerosol Grey Machine Studios.

Yes!! When I got up this morning and went to my computer, I saw that you had "favorited" some of Sungha Jung's playing, and I spend the next hour watching his YouTubes! INCREDIBLE!! What's even more amazing to me is that, for many years, he would only watch his father play and didn't start playing himself until he was about 10 years old, and he got this good in only two years, often without the benefit of any tabs, but simply by playing along to music he could find on the internet. A true genius! HQGod protect Korea!

I thought this is cool YouTube story: You have two music-loving musicians living an ocean away - A keyboard player and singer from Denver, Colorado named Jimmy Gelhaar and a guitarist named Bastiaan Zijlstra from Drachten, Netherlands... They have never met! Spending over a month sending files back and forth using free software and FINALLY ended up with this collaborative recording of "Hotel California"! HQThe world can be a pretty cool place! Bastiaan and Jimmy recently collaborated once more to cover another classic - Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven":

Tonight, I stumbled across a YouTube of this group of apparent amateurs - friends and family members calling themselves "The Fendertones" - who in 2004 gave a charity concert in which they performed the Beach Boys. I'm very impressed! Here are a few samples: "Dance Dance Dance" "Let Him Run Wild" "California Girls" "Good Vibrations" "God Only Knows" Addendum: I have since found (though the help of a Czech internet sleuth named Veronika *) that the Fendertones were a group of students and faculty at Bryn Athyn College in Pennsylvania: www.brynathyn.edu/rocks/history.htmlAnd while I'm at it... a few more YouTubes: "Heroes and Villains" "Little Girl I Once Knew"/"Help Me Rhonda"

Hahaha! Another Corrs fan (Rick T.) called my attention to some musicians found on YouTube who call themselves Pomplamoose. The "VideoSongs" that they post at YouTube follows two rules: 1. What you see is what you hear (no lip-syncing for instruments or voice). 2. If you hear it, at some point you see it (no hidden sounds)."
