Yesterday the grammies have been awarded to the world of music in LA.
Ladies and the Gentlemen, the wonderful Dixie Chicks have won 5 Grammies!!! Isn´t that wonderful?! They have been nominated in 5 categories and have won all of them.
Here´s what I found about it on the official Grammy site www.grammy.com/:
Introduced by the legendary Joan Baez, who referred to them as "three brave women," the Dixie Chicks performed their charged "Not Ready To Make Nice." Led by Natalie Maines, fellow Chicks Emily Robison and Martie Maguire pulled off an almost defiant performance that climaxed in the song's powerful, impassioned chorus, a statement of intent that pulled the heartstrings of the worldwide GRAMMY audience.
Well said, I think
And, another great thing: The Police is back. I heard an extract of their live performance of "Roxanne" from last night on the radio and it sounded amazing. That must be a fantastic comeback for this great band.
Here´s a link to the list of all the winners:

There are also some wonderful photos and videos that show at least a bit how wonderful this show must have been. So, just have a look at the Grammy site and enjoy.
Btw, Natalie is having dark hair now, uohuoh. The Chicks look great!!!
A lot of other artists have also been awarded with a Grammy, so feel free to post about your Grammy highlights. I´d really like to hear all about it.
