I think it's about time that we started a thread dedicated to the music of one great friend of ours here - Caro Jordanow. Caro Jordanow playing a Taylor guitarCaro is an incredible musician in every respect. She can play the guitar and play the piano brilliantly. She has many other instruments that she can play as well but, if she can't yet play it, she could probably learn any instrument there is in short order. She sings well, too. Very importantly, she is an amazing songwriter. I remember hearing my first bit of music from the band she plays in called Thirteen Degrees and it impressed me so much. She also has a talent for studio work, as evidenced by the recordings she has made for her MySpace profile: www.myspace.com/carojordanowOn top of her extraordinary talent, she's a great human being. I look forward to following her career in music.

I am glad that you're enjoying it, Simone! Yes, it's really incredible what Caro does on that album - for example, "Barefoot By The Sea" - she writes the music, the lyrics, performs the guitar, the bass, sings lead and backing vocals. She does it all - percussion, too. Plus, she recorded, mixed and produced the track using her own computer. That's talent! And Swantje adds her great lyric-writing to some of the tracks, too, such as "Joe" - what a great track! ;D

Caro has a really fun new song of hers called "The Chocolate Song" newly posted at her MySpace page: www.myspace.com/carojordanowCaro, you wrote an excellent "feel-good" song, performed it beautifully, and made a great recording! The verses are very creative, but I gotta say that really love the refrain (or "chorus" as we call it). *off to get some chocolate now* ;D
