I just wanted "tip my cap" to Anto Drennan for his amazing guitar solo on "Queen of Hollywood." It impresses me every time I watch it. This is one of the many highlights that makes Lansdowne Road such a great DVD! "We, who are not worthy, salute you, Anto Drennan!"

it definitely rocks!
And on last year's tour, he did a solo in WCID, which was also very killer!

When Anto returned from his Genesis commitments, it can be fair to say that the Corrs really took stock of what an asset he was to the ensemble and, as a result, was "let off the leash" with regards to solo work. This period (2nd half 98 - 99) was also a period when the Corrs live act really stepped up several notches and became, frankly, one of the best live acts going around. Key factors were: - playing the big festivals around Europe (Sopot in Poland, Doctor Music in Spain, Fleadh in London, Solidays in Paris & Glastonbury) - Caro's growing stature both as a drummer and overall performer - Runaway finding it's "ultimate form"
QOH was never released as a single yet it became a permanent part of their set list and probably rates in their 10 best numbers. It's a great song and Andrea certainly milked it's melodrama for everything but I suspect it's longevity had much to do with Mr Drennan. Having caught them live several times and watched/listened to many QOH clips over the years, it was never just the same solo. Clearly, the sibs had sufficient trust in his musicianship/taste to let him loose. They had no probs with him winging it .... nor did the fans !!
