I would like to know: How did you discover the Corrs?- How did you first hear the Corrs?
- What song started your love?

I first heard The Corrs when I saw The Right Time on VH1. The first songs that I loved were Only When I Sleep and I Never Loved You Anyway.

I have a vague recollection of hearing "Breathless" and "Irresistible" on the radio several times during the days of In Blue. This was (at least so far) the high point of the Corrs success in the U.S. However, I thought the singing sounded like Shania Twain . This doesn't seem as crazy as I once thought, now that I know that "Mutt" Lange (Shania's husband) co-wrote both of these songs! Being a fan of U2, I came to know the Corrs from hearing "When The Stars Go Blue" featuring Bono. Andrea's vocals on that song really got my attention. ("She is GREAT!!...who is SHE??" ) Last year I bought my first Corrs' CD, a used copy Forgiven Not Forgotten. I was absolutely overwhelmed by the greatness of this music and I have been a HUGE fan ever since!! Unfortunately, I became a avid fan just as the Corrs were finishing up the U.S. leg of their Borrowed Heaven tour. Only later did I find out that they performed in Saratoga, California, not too far from where I live. Agghh!! ;D ;D

I first saw them on TV. Smash Hits Poll Winners Party 1998. They performed "So Young". A month later, I heard "The Right Time", and the rest is history.

In the spring of 1999 I was in grad school and we had two visiting students from Scotland. They introduced me to The Corrs with both FNF and TOC. The two songs that I first heard and happened to be playing in her cd player while we were driving were Love Gives Love Takes and Hopelessly Addicted. I thought to myself, "geez this sucks." I heard more songs a few days later. The one that really got me first was INLYA, I thought it was really sassy and it just hooked me. I caught onto Runaway and Right Time really quickly too. BTW, Hopelessly Addicted while not my favourites, is not as bad as I thought, but as for LGLT well ...

I´ve known them ever since I was about 11 years old and I always liked them but the song that really started my love was "Radio" when I saw the videoclip on MTV in 1999. I went to the CD store right away to buy "Unplugged" and "FNF". ;D

Hopelessly would have made me fall for Andrea-I love that song! Haha, very appropriate song for you, eh? Here are more lurid details about my early Corrs experience? OK, so after I get hooked on a few of their songs, she actually gave me her TOC cd. She brought a huge collection of cds but didn't bring the sleeves or the disc holders. So I had no idea what they looked like at all. I also liked the Forgiven Not Forgotten cd that Paul, the other student had. But he was a bigger fan and wasn't giving his up. lol So he actually bought me one for my birthday over the summer. So this was the first time I had any notion of what they looked like. Honestly, I enjoyed the music a lot and it wasn't too important. But I got the FNF cd and I looked at the cover and thought hmm ... these two look really mean (Caroline and Andrea). But Sharon looks really sweet and pretty. Then on the inside flap, I thought oh well Caroline looks much better here than she does on the cover. But this Andrea ... I just love her voice ... but she looks a little saucy to me in these 2 pics... blah. It's amazing how you think you know what they're like from one album sleeve, lol. Anyway, I thought to myself ... this Sharon is turning out to be my favourite I think. I thought the fact that she played the violin was cool too. Fast forward a year ... 2000. I got an email from Paul in Scotland telling me the Corrs had a new album out and asking if I was going to buy it. I told him yeah I'd heard about it but it hasn't been released here yet ... I had just heard the Breathless single and really wanted to get the album but I wasn't sure about the release date ... so I actually did something I hadn't done before (for some reason) ... going online to look up more info about the band ... you know the album release ... so I also chanced upon some pics so out of curiosity I browsed through them. I got Sharon and Andrea mixed up a lot at first. It was like "OK, this must be Sharon but is her hair that dark? .... Uhmmmm?" I started to come across all these pics of Andrea with the cutest facial expressions and I thought wow, she's just as attractive as Sharon. She seems real charismatic too. So a few days later I actually downloaded a few vids ... then it happened. Glastonbury, Fleadh, and FNF era tv performance from Australia. I saw Andrea singing and performing for the first time and then I was just ... And in the words of Brenden, "The rest is history." So I was a fan of the band, listened to their music, and had very little clue about how they looked, how they perfomed live, and had no clue what I was in store for re: Andrea. lol Remember, I'd only known her from the FNF cd sleeve. I'd never seen her up on stage at all. I adored her voice immensely ... it was soothing, rich, and Irish. But I had no idea about her looks, personality, and her little foibles like thumb sucking, lol. So in summary I discovered the Corrs in 1999. But I didn't discover Andrea in all her glorious magnetism until 2000. The first few minutes of Glastonbury ... the first vid I watched ... was like getting flattened by a freight train! Hearing her voice while watching her perform and getting those vibes ... I was defenseless against it. I've been under her thumb ever since. lol

Wooow... you ever had a 'strange' thinking about Andrea? So you need few years to discover Andrea's charisma? That's really great, so you must not an "instant fan". I've heard the Corrs since 1999. My mother couldn't paints without the Corrs songs, so she play it in radio everyday. I feel boring hear the same song everyday, so i rather annoyed when heard it. But....when i wake up at night....i often feel scared and i'm too shy to sleep with my mother . To avoid it, i listen to the Corrs song every night when i felt scared....and now i become their fan!!!! My fave song is "Radio", i like everything from this song, especially Sharon's backing vocal!!!

The whole time I had never seen Andrea perform, never knew her charisma, didn't know her personality, and frankly didn't know much what any of them looked like except for the sleeve from FNF, because my TOC copy was sleeveless, lol.
