Summer conversation
You asked me once
"Why doesn´t beauty come in bottles? We could slurp the syrup then and turn all graceful."
Well, here´s my answer
"Beauty comes in people, see, you can feed it from each smile that you receive. So when you ask me how you, with your crooked nose and your freckles can be beautiful to me, then I say: You are my constant smile. That´s how you can."

Very nice conversation, rminds me into "Summer Wine". Have you ever tried to write a song, Ms Swantje? You have a great talent to do it. You'll sing and Ms Caro will play the guitar .

Yes, I also wrote a couple if songlyrics, Mr Wiku.
Oh believe me to work with Caro would be such an honour for me! She´s so very talented!
By the way, "Summer conversation" is based on my imagination. No one ever came to me to ask that question. It was more a question that formed itself in my own head. But I wanted to put beauty in words and on the same time showing that beauty is something you can´t grab or catch...it´s something that flows all around us, that we beathe in...

Beautiful, Swantje! I love your poem... and agree with it. Being from California, it inspired me to start my own poem: You asked me once Why doesn't beauty come with surgeon's touch? Can he cut out the ugly, so all will love us much?
