Sounds fun! I don't know about "official" part, since we have so many photographers here, but it sure would be so fun to have a bunch of us meet up in Ireland some day! And I would have my camera with me, that's for sure!

these are some pics I took during the holidays. Let's see if you like them That's it for now, I guess hope you like them
Wow, Caro! Yes I LIKE them!!!! Those are fabulous! You REALLY have a great photographic eye! I just wrote down a few things that came to mind as I looked at them:
#1 The sense of vast emptiness broken by man’s technology. The fading light adds drama.
#2 Very tranquil winter scene. The woman walking is the focus of the picture and it suggests peace. Reminds me of a song :
The meadows and far-sheeted streams Lie still without a sound; Like some soft minister of dreams The snow-fall hoods me round; In wood and water, earth and air, A silence everywhere.
#3 I love this one! I like how the tree trunk with green moss is in focus and the monument is slightly out of focus in the background. Brilliant! I don’t know the right words to describe this picture! Nature’s resilience contrasted with the ephemeral existence of mankind. It’s incredible!
#4 Caro’s big shoe track!! I LIKE it! It’s a study in white, showing the different shades of white that combine to make an interesting image.
#5 My favorite of them all! (#3 being close) I really like how the road divides the image into two contrasting halves, yet still somehow has a visual "balance." The left is the dark forest; the right is the lighter fields but it all joins together in harmony where the woman walks. Wonderful picture, Caro!
#6 I love the use of light in this picture how the roadway glows with the reflection of the weak winter sun. This image has so much three dimensional depth to it.
You are a VERY excellent photographer, Caro!! Thanks for posting these! They are GREAT!! Your gifts for artistic expression are so phenomenal, Caro!
