What a talent! I am only slightly familiar with Shakira. I have her Spanish-language "Greatest Hits" album. She's fantastic and sings with such passion. I really love the song "Tú" (studio, especially). And that belly-dancing thing she does... !!!

I used to adore Shakira. But since she was absent for years, i must say i was forget about her. But i'm so glad she's back, because she's interesting singer. She's not that much tallent through, but she's OK, and she looks very nice too.

Actually I am no fan of hers BUT "La Tortura", ach gosh AWESOME! Alejandro Sanz´s voice on this one...wowie! I think they both did a good job on this one. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the way Shakira says "Perderte" Hahaha. Actually THIS SONG was the song that I would call the "Berlin meeting song" because we constantly kept on humming it and then saying "Perderte" where ever we went. Hihi. Was a lot of fun!!! I still keep on listening to it now whenever I am using my computer. It´s totally different from the music I usually listen to but I like it though. I do not understand the lyrics (Except for "Perderte", I know what that means.), so I can´t sing it but yet I like it!

Well maybe it´s also that fact that one can relate memories to a song...I am totally sure that wouldn´t it have been for the fantastic time in Berlin and the fact that "La Tortura" became the Berlin-song, then I guess, I would not love it as much as I do now.

I also connect the song "La tortura" with the journey from the concert in Bonn to Herne when the car broke down (remember Swantje´s recap?), cause Annika used to play it in the car over and over again.

It´s a really great song. They often play it in the Cocktailbar where my friends and I go to, to dance Salsa (it´s a Salsa-/Cocktailbar). It´s so cool to dance to this song.
