I could see Natalie Imbruglia yesterday and could have an autograph ! She's incredibely nice and beautiful. I didn't realize how much her songs were good. I'm especially liking "Counting down the days". The next one will be KT Tunstall. I just got her new album. Lucky you!!!! At this time, I really like Mika's album "Life In cartoon Motion" (just buy, guys ), The Dixie Chicks "Home" and Katie Melua "Piece By Piece"

Well, I will have to check out Mika and Natalie Imbruglia more. When it comes to Natalie's music - I pretty much just know that big it called "Torn" and that's about it. And, Simone, you're not the first one that I have heard give lots of praise to the music of Mika. I really like the new song "Dark Road" by Annie Lennox that Stephanie has playing at her profile. I have also been listening to Soundso, the latest CD by Wir Sind Helden. I love a song called "Für nichts garantieren".

Owww "Dark road" haha! I think Steph got us all under her spell with that one!
I played Mika's cd yesterday and it is soooo funny. You cannot listen to that album without smiling. I also love the song "I'm sorry" by Tommy Reeve and "Insanity" by Darin.
There is so much good music. I also love the new Wir Sind Helden cd that Steve mentioned before. But somehow I cannot get the "Dark Road" tune out of my head.. So I keep sharing it with my friends haha!

YES!!!!! ;D I'm loving Annie's new song, "Dark Road" !!! ;D And, don't forget, her new CD is out this Tuesday!!! (Oct 2nd) Otherwise, I'm listening to alot of Depeche Mode atm... They have some recent songs that are quite good... such as, "Precious", & "Its No Good" ...But, for the most part, I'm more a fan of their old 80s stuff... "Policy Of Truth", "Enjoy The Silence", "Strange Love" ...awesome songs!!!

I have been recently listening to a lot of ELO (Electric Light Orchestra). I was/am a huge fan of Jeff Lynne's music when I was young and I still am. Recently, I bought a live concert DVD from the Zoom tour in 2001 and I was really amazed by how great a performer he is, and the band did a splendid job on recapturing the magic of the ELO songs. Some of the performances can be found on YouTube (which is where I found out about the DVD), but the music sounds sooooo much better on the DVD. I was really amazed at how great the music sounds and at how well the band performed!

I love ELO-I remember the first time I saw them it was on the Midnight Special and they performed "Living Thing" and I was blown away. Out of the Blue is a great album. I just bought REO's greatest hits and on the cover it mentions they are from Champaign, Il my home town. 2 more weeks until Emmy Rossum(played Christine on Phantom Of The Opera) appears on the today show!

At this time, I really like Mika's album "Life In cartoon Motion" (just buy, guys ), The I keep hearing all this good stuff about Mika's album "Life In Cartoon Motion" - I'll check it out! ha ha... nice banners, Scott!!! ;D ...I used to really like ELO too, back in the day... small world...LOL!!!! ;D I didn't know they were still making music together?!! I never realized it at the time, but ELO was essentially Jeff Lynne, since he wrote the music and lyrics and did all the singing. On the video that I mention, the only other original member is Richard Tandy, who plays the keyboards. I was very favourably impressed by quality of the songs in this DVD performance. It kind of rekindled my interest in the old ELO songs, and they still sound great. ;D There are some really great songs that never made the radio.

Hi Brownie! You know, I'd like to let you know what I think, only I couldn't get any of those tunes to play. Does it require a registration with RadioBlogClub and Deezer?
