I thought it might be fun to have a place to share our love of music with a place to post internet videos (YouTubes, MySpace videos, etc.) of music or musicians that we discovering or enjoying. We can only post the URLs here at this ProBoards site; HTML embedding doesn't work.... but post your URL links!

Thanks, Egle! ;D I had never hear that Enigma song before. It's good. On 25 February 2007, Bryan Adams, a great musician, performed at the FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL, LA QUINTA VERGARA, VINA DEL MAR. It's nice to see the old guys still rockin'! This concert was broadcast on television throughout Chile. Guitarist extraordinaire, Keith Scott, and Bryan Adams at the gig in Chile, 2007.Here's a clip of "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You", a song for which I have a soft spot, written by Bryan, the late composer Michael Kamen, and Mutt Lange, who co-wrote "Breathless" with Andrea Corr: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPy1tCchSxE

Here's a band that I just found out about called Little Birdy from Perth, Australia. MySpace: www.myspace.com/littlebirdyHere's a video of theirs called "Tonight's The Night" from their album Bigbiglove from 2005: www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgxEIMnnEbcJust like Germany's Wir Sind Helden, Little Birdy features a mesmerizing frontwoman (Katy Steele) and a great band. Steele reminds me a lot of Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders. Little Birdy (L to R): Katy Steele, Scott O'Donoghue, Matt Chequer, and Simon Leach (Not in picture: Fergus Deasy)

Thanks for opening this thread, Steve. It´s a wonderful idea. I´m posting a link of a wonderful, but also sad video that I came across some time ago. Some of you already know it, because I posted it on some of your myspaces. It´s from the Show "Duets impossible", Katie Melua and Eva Cassidy singing "Somewhere over the rainbow". Enjoy!!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTt-ShDLEDU

Yes, that's very emotional, Sabine. But also very beautiful. I really like both Eva Cassidy and Katie Melua. THANKS!

Here's a live performance that Loreena McKennitt did at the Barnes & Noble bookstore in New York City as part of the promotion for her first album in nearly ten years, An Ancient Muse. The song is called "Raglan Road": www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYeE6kwrcr4I first came under the spell of her music in 1997. Sadly that year, her fiancé was killed in a boating accident, and at one point she said that she'd never perform her songs again. Nearly ten years went by. Finally she made An Ancient Muse. Barnes & Noble had an exclusive bonus CD and I got it! ;D Even in this in-store performance and in spite of the imperfect sound quality, the music that she performs here grips me emotionally with its beauty.

LOL....Sorry.... *hides* Can someone post instructions on how to take part in this?? ...Thankies... ;D Hi Linda How was the Holly Cole concert? Okay, what you do is find a video at YouTube that you want to share. To the side of the video at YouTube (in boxes) will be what they call "tags" - one of them is the "URL" tag. All you do is copy the stuff that is in the URL tag box, come here to the board and start a post and click the "add tags" icon that looks like the planet earth. It will create a set of URL brackets and just paste your video's URL into the middle of those brackets. Then all we do is click the link and go see your video. Did that make any sense? BTW!!! EGLE!!!! I can't believe you!!! Tsss...tsss! I want GOOD music here! *lol*

Hi, Steve!!! ...Nice to see you around... ;D Missing you @ CC lately?? Maybe avoiding the reviews for TFH, as you said.. Thanks for the instructions on how to post videos.. hee hee!!! I tried to post a few pics from my holiday, on the "general board", & ended up with only links... so, not too bright at this kind of thing, sorry.. LOL!!!! But, I'll give it a try sometime.. I posted about the Holly Cole concert on OT.. But, seems no one much is interested.. ah well.. I was going to email you about it tho.. It was very good... We had amazing seats... We were kind of in a box, above the stage, & if I looked over my left shoulder, I could see right down on the stage!! ;D Holly rocked the house.. She was fantastic, lots of energy.. She began the show with "Alley Cat" then, "Charade", "If It Takes Forever" ... Also did, "The House Is Haunted", "Larger Than Life" from the new CD... & alot of old faves too... Her encore was pretty wild tho... She sang an old song called, "Moonglow", then announced jokingly that she'd had enough of singing.. so, she went to the back, kicked off her high-heels, & sat behind the drums, and just started to whale on them.. LOL!!!! I had no idea she played drums!!! ...The drummer then started rapping, centre stage.. The audience loved it, & cheered them on.. It was great.. ;D She then finished the show with "Ain't That A Kick In The Head" ...She played for about an hour & a half.. No signing this time tho, unfortunately, but, that's okay.. It was a good night... ;D Thanks for asking...

It's okay, Egle. This is your thread; you can put whatever you want us to watch! *lol* And I LOVE Cara Dillon! She is awesome! ;D Hi, Steve!!! ...Nice to see you around... ;D Missing you @ CC lately?? Maybe avoiding the reviews for TFH, as you said.. Yes, Linda, you're exactly right. I have been a lurker there, especially since I don't have the CD yet, and still don't know when I'm going to get it. The outfit that I ordered it from still hasn't sent me notification that it has shipped, even. There's people at the CC who would buy a recording of Andrea coughing for 20 minutes and say it was the best CD ever. There are some there who have some unexplicable vendetta against Andrea - maybe seeing her solo effort as a threat to the continuation of the Corrs - and are unfairly critical and hate everything she does. I just want to hear the CD first before posting a lot. It was a good night... ;D Thanks for asking... The Holly Cole concert sounds like it was fabulous, Linda! I like her jazzy style of music and can't help notice that she's got such beautiful eyes! I still haven't got that Romantically Helpless CD. It's very expensive. In your honour, Linda, I found this one: www.vodpod.com/pod/show_video/45594"I Can See Clearly Now" by the Holly Cole Trio.

Omg!!!! Thanks for the Holly Cole video, Steve!!! That's one of my faves... Yes, the concert was great, & thank you for asking... If ever you would like my help in getting a copy of "Romantically Helpless", or anything else "Holly" related, you only have to ask, my friend... I had to chuckle, when I read your words about how some people on CC react to Andrea's solo music... It's so true!!! ;D Hopefully, the more negative one's will be filtered out tho, as they've started blocking IP addresses over there... ha ha!! I would just love to hear a more "mature" review, you know?? I think alot of the CC posters these days, are 15 to 19 yr olds, not to sophisticated in the art of music, & listening to it.. So, therefore, you get the sort of response like, anything Andrea does is brilliant, & the best thing ever... It's ok, if that's how you "really" feel... But, I'd like a more thoughtful response... My own opinions are changing, the more I listen to the CD.. I think it may be growing on me... I hope you're able to get your copy soon, Steve...
