Yes, that's great that she will be in Glastonbury on the acoustic stage. I hope someone in Corrdom will be able to provide us with video! There are sure a lot of artists there! I wish I had a concert like that near me!

Latest official word. May 26th, 2009
As some have already posted on various sites (you’re quick!) - catch Sharon picking some more of her favourite artists on Dave Fanning’s Eleventh Hour TV Show, RTE TWO, 23.55 on the 27th of May. www.rte.ie/tv/listing.html?channel=132&date=1 AND Sharon shall be appearing at Glastonbury on Sunday 28th of June.

Thanks a million for all your messages of support. Keep ‘em coming, your enthusiasm is inspiring.Think the link for the TV will only work in Ireland/N.Ireland.Seems like someone from her site closely monitors the fansites !! Hope it's NOT "herself" or I fear I may encounter a sign reading "Strictly NO Wombats allowed" should I try attending one of her gigs !! Really .... I didn't mean all those "bossy" cracks .... Of course you never pick on your brother; he merely needs constant reminders on how to behave ! (The Wombat will now exit stage left with haste ... lest he dig himself in any deeper)

You can download the interview with Dave Fanning : HERE(However, I think you only can watch it with Real Player) If you're in Ireland (I suppose), you could also watch it online at : RTE WebsiteThanks to John J. from The Corrs Club. Sharon looks awesome and much younger with that outfit, IMO. It's great could see her again.

A furry pundit's impressions:
1. This show does NOT go live to air; apparently they only do a few shows per season. This was obviously pre-recorded some weeks back.
2. The camera is still in love with this woman. Interesting that the Corrs' resident style queen "dressed it down" but then again, the WCID clip is eloquent proof that these ladies don't need to glam it up to look a million bucks.
3. With a good interviewer (or at least anyone that does their homework); she is a "magic" guest. Whoever is responsible for her promotion .... FFS get her on the major national morning shows !!! Point 2 is blindingly obvious, so is her charm ..... and humour and this comes across to an audience . What is MOST apparent is per passion for what she is doing ... as indeed was the case for all four sibs. She put it most eloquently stated ...... this IS what she wants to do for the rest of her life ... being a musician is what makes her tick.
4. To put it bluntly, Sharon is 1000 times more adept at this side of the business than baby sister.
5. Unlike little sister, she is not abdicating artistic control of her work. One can only applaud her for having a clear artistic vision for her work and clearly she was NOT staring off into space during those times in the studio. Whilst she is clearly in charge of the project; the "key people" whom we know she is working with (Anto, Keith, Jason, Fiachra Trench, Billy Farrell) are all people where, at the very minimum, the relationship is based on major mutual respect for each other as musicians and whose opinions/inputs she values. In short, she is working with people with whom she is completely comfortable and whom she trusts implicitly.
6. Re the Corrs future, I feel she made the point that there still is some "unfinished business". Home definitely seems to have been a "labour of love" for them and definitely some regret that they did not "tour" it. One suspects that some of it's material will find its way onto a future Corrs setlist. I found it a "slow burn" effect with me, and over time I suspect it may prove more successful than first thought.
7. The original Dreams. Was interested to hear her recollections of Mick Fleetwood and how gracious and positive he was towards them. She indicated that they were lucky to have it available for the tribute album yet I feel they managed to put their own individual stamp on the song. Personally, I prefer their's to the original ..... I certainly prefer Andrea's vocal to Stevie Nicks'.
8. Her CV. Pretty impressive isn't it !!! A lot of artists wouldn't mind having ONE of those songs to their credit. Interesting that she put Runaway down to Andrea AND Caroline.
9. Her mother's voice. Wouldn't it have been veeery interesting to find out how she and her daughters may have sounded together ? The Carpenters excerpt was interesting not only with regards to Sharon's comments about her mother's voice but also gave just a little indication of just why some of us have seen Andrea as an artitic heiress to Karen.

Nyoman, thank you very much for the link to the interview. I watched it. Sharon looks very lovely and I have a good feeling about the album. Sharon is a great songwriter. A fine synopsis of the interview, Wombat. I am very pleased that Sharon has such passion for music. Quite honestly, for a long time I didn't know how much she wanted to continue with making music. But to know that she wants to do it all her life is very exciting.
