Dammit !! How does the lady manage to do it? She just hits EVERY right note with her communication strategy. As with every EPK so far; she gives us some music, a few ligher moments as well as some valuable insights into her musical identity & process. Here she directly acknowledges the feedback she's been receiving from the intl netbase; her own website & the value of the various fan boards. Our friends from Brazil get a special mention ... and let's face it, they warrant it. She's also noted that people want to know about "her team"; so she shows and talks about Anto (yes, we finally hear the "silent man" speak albeit quietly), Keith, Jace & Billy and WHY she's working with them. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-cz2VdK63o

Yes, that was a great one for all the reasons that you mention, CW. It had me laughing in several parts. What has me very enthusiastic is the way that Sharon obviously loves what she does, feels comfortable working with Anto, Keith and Jason, and enjoys interacting with the fans. I like how she honestly admitted having "butterflies" before her first concert. I can certainly understand that. I think she is doing a superb job. I think that may have been the first time I have heard Anto talk! I am happy about her remarks about the devotion of the Brazilian fans and her desire to perform in Brazil. I agree that it is well-deserved.

Actually Anto DID speak on the ATWH doco .... one word that is (excellent) ... during The Point rehearsals for BH tour. It was very pertinent that she stated that she is very much self-managing (taking ownership of) the project. The fact that she is working with HER select team of people with whom she shares total professional/personal confidence AND loves to work with is but a key illustration (I'm including Fiachra Trench in this grouping). These people subtly but profoundly enriched the Corrs music and what we have already heard from this album clearly shows their influence.
One DOES hope that they are able to get a deal together for intl distribution from a larger label as there is clearly an intl market. Concurrent with that is sufficient budget for promotion. The passion of the Brazilian fans has been amazing and one hopes that Sharon is in a position to reward their dedication.
Interesting that she mentioned Manila as the Philippines is likely to be the Asian market where she could REALLY hit paydirt should she be able to release/promote & perform there. DSYLM was never released as a single anywhere else but it was "mega" in the Phils. INAD could possibly hit a similar mark given their love for that genre.

I think a lot of places in Asia would welcome Sharon's music. Indonesia would be another. Maybe even Hong Kong.

Yeah, I really hope so, ;D But if she couldn't do a visit here, the CD releases is satisfied enough for me. ;D And about hearing Anto's speak, there's a video called " The One and Only The Corrs" which consist of three parts. In the part two or maybe three (I cannot remember correctly, sorry!), you can see Anto and Keith was interviewed about working with The Corrs. You're absolutely could hear Anto's speak there.

Can agree that Shaz could get a warm welcome in a number of Asian countries; I mentioned the Phils because it would be a clear priority "numero uno". Hong Kong yes, Malaysia/Singapore possibly; others a bonus. Re Indonesia; under ideal circumstances it would be a definite but obvious factors mitigate against visiting.
I'd heard about that doco but I haven't been able to locate it online and it doesn't appear to be amongst those discs that Swantje sent me ...(wombat burrows at hi-speed) ... confirm that it isn't ....bugger !!
Re Anto's English accent; he was actually born there due to his father (Tony Drennan) being based in the UK for part of his career. The Drennans returned to Ireland later in his childhood.

Had a laugh looking over at Shaz forum. Someone pointed out that EPK 4 had been up for a week but people hadn't been notified. Peter the site Admin's response was :
"I was just scared to hit publish, because I knew all the Brazillians would go crazy !!"
