Hmm does this mean before or after Andrea's cd. We still have no idea if this is something the band's doing or just the record label.

Hmm does this mean before or after Andrea's cd. We still have no idea if this is something the band's doing or just the record label. Good question! It's hard to know WHAT to think. Once again, the release of this new compilation CD is still on "stealth setting", and, as has been the pattern of late, the Corrs Official Website remains silent about both CDs. Some of the talk is that this is going to be a CD which may not be released in the States, but we're just going to have to wait and see. I will definitely get the CD, no matter what! Thanks to Simon for his efforts to find out more.

Here is the album cover: Found it HERE. The tracklist is still changing, it appears. Mathias (CSCfan), in a thread at the Corrs Club, lists the latest tracklist as: 01: Goodbye [2006 Remix] 02: Forgiven Not Forgotten [Lp Version] 03: Dreams Tees [Radio Mix] 04: Radio [MTV Unplugged/edit version] 05: When The Stars Go Blue featuring Bono 06: Only When I Sleep [Lp Version] 07: Breathless [Lp Version] 08: So Young [K-klass Remix] 09: Runaway [Lp Version] 10: Summer Sunshine 11: What Can I Do [Tin Tin Out Remix] 12: All I Have To Do Is Dream Feat. Laurent Voulzy 13: No Frontiers [MTV Unplugged Version] 14: Angel 15: Old Town [album Version] 16: Ruby Tuesday featuring Ron Wood 17: Haste To The Wedding [album Version] 18: I Know My Love featuring The Chieftans 19: Brid Og Ni Mhaille [album Version] 20: Toss The Feathers [instrumental]

A blonette? Hihi, that sure is a nice new word. Haha. And the light sure makes it look as if the top of Sharon´s head is blonde whereas the rest is not. Anyway, I do not like the cover that much. There are so many other nice pictures out there that they could use. I hate that top Caroline was wearing back then. That sure was one of those bad fashion mistakes in the late 1990 (Going even into 2000).
Why the sudden plans of a new Best of? I don´t know. I mean, we do not know anything anyway. (Grrrr....) But to me it just seems a little as if the record label wants to make some money by releasing that (IF it is released.).

That´s the cover verison of "All I Have To Do Is Dream" Andrea did with Laurent Voulzy. His new album was very successful in France earlier this year.

I about fell out of my chair when I saw that COW has been updated!! ;D They write the following: Hi everyone. It’s nice to be back after our short hiatus and what a great piece of news to be back with! On November 20th we are releasing “Dreams – The Ultimate Corrs Collection”. As well as the band’s greatest hits the track list will include remixes of “Goodbye” and “When the Stars Go Blue”, featuring Bono. Also included is “Ruby Tuesday” with Ronnie Wood and you’ll get to hear Andrea sing “All I Have To Do Is Dream” with Laurent Voulzy from his Number 1 French album “La Septieme Vague”. Check back later this week for the full track list and audio samples. And the samples are up at COW, including a new studio version of WTSGB. Going to listen right now!

WOW, WOW,WOW Woooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooooo!!! That sounds wonderful!!! First of all I think it´s fantastic, that COW is alive again. I was really thinking that they had left us. And then I think this album is gonna be great. I really like the tracklist and the cover as well. I also like the fact that they also put the duet with Laurent Voulzy on the cd as well. That´s sooo cool. And it´s amazing that the cd is also available on amazon.de.

Do you think that this Cd is a sign of the band settling down and finishing their muscial career or is it just to fill the gap between Home and what´s coming afterwards (if there´s something coming afterwards)

Do you think that this Cd is a sign of the band settling down and finishing their muscial career or is it just to fill the gap between Home and what´s coming afterwards (if there´s something coming afterwards) Sabine, as to whether Dreams is "tying the bow" on their career, I can't say for sure, but I tend to think that the band will be back. I believe that you are right about it being a gap-filler between Home and the next album. I believe that it is an album meant to sustain some momentum from the great sales that Home saw in countries such as France. In fact, I believe that the album is directed in large part towards France for the following reasons: - It includes Andrea's duet with Laurent Voulzy, the very popular French artist.
- It includes several songs from VH1 Live in Dublin that were not released in Europe.
- It does NOT include "Miracle" which was on the French version of Borrowed Heaven.
- It appears that Dreams will NOT be released in the U.S. It is only available in the States as an import, so far.

You know, to me it seems like it´s being released in order to not have the Corrs drift totally out of the focus of the media & fans. This gives them more time for whatever they plan to do, if they do, without being forgotten. A Best of album works like this mostly. It´s simple to make.
There are other examples for when a Best of album serves as a come back but in those cases it always has at least one new song on it too! -see Roxette´s latest album for example-And the Dreams collection does not contain any real new song. So I really think it happens ´cause of the reason I just mentioned. Also in favor of the record company. (Though I still am pretty confused after all the romours of the Corrs maybe not working with Atlantic Warner anymore and now here comes a Best of CD.)
But, even though I mostly believe what I just said (I should not always be so pesimistic, haha) I also have to agree with Steve! It sure seems like it IS directed towards France!
