I love the fact that she's penned all but one of the tunes! Hmm late spring so that means maybe summer concerts in Europe-that could work nicely for me!-Steve start saving your money, lol

Yes, I think it is exciting that she has written so much of her material for the album. The article confirms also that Andrea did in fact stay with Atlantic Records, and I am not really that happy about it, given the shabby treatment that the Corrs get from this label. After the site for Rogue's Gallery stated in the liner notes that Andrea Corr appear courtesy of EMI Records, I was a little hopeful that she had "jumped ship" to another label. I WILL try to save my money, Scott! ;D

I wondered that myself Caro-I'm thinking this means the band is still under contract with Atlantic Uk or I'm sure Andrea would have left.

I'm glad that "a prominent UK industry insider" likes the album, even if the person doesn't want to give his/her name. But, that's the UK. What about other places in the world? Where and when will Andrea's album be released? WILL it be released in the States? Will it be released in the States several months afterwards like Home and Dreams, perhaps on the Rhino label? The situation Atlantic Records in the U.S. has been ruddy tiresome, these past few years. I really hope that Andrea gets some help from Bono to get this album released worldwide!

Yep, that's what I'm worried about, too. because a fact ios, that simply the US are very important for a worldwide success for an artist. So do you mean that she HAD to stay at Atlantic Records becuse The Corrs still have their contract running? I thought she strts off as a solo artist...doesn't she have the right then to take another company?

Great article!!! Thanks for that, Steve... I'm quite looking forward to Andrea's album... It'll be interesting to see the musical direction she takes, on her own... And, the fact that she's wrote most of the material herself, I'm sure there'll be "some" similarity to the Corrs music... Yes, It's sounding great!!! ;D Just hope that we're all able to obtain the album without difficulties?? As some of you are concerned about the crummy choice of record labels...
