Andrea@Piano! Japanese Bonus Material

I just watched the YouTubes of the Japanese Bonus Track version of Ten Feet High and it has videos of Andrea at the piano performing "Hello Boys" and "Shame On You." Also, there is a YouTube of "Amazing" - the bonus song (I don't know if this is a fan-made video that accompanies the music). I don't know how long they'll remain there but....

I have to say that Andrea's more sullen and tonally-rich version of "Hello Boys" really is an ear-opener. I like Andrea's vision for the song much more than Nellie Hooper's. I believe Andrea always intended for there to be something melancholy in the song. I'm really impressed with Andrea's classical style. The end is sort of... hmmm... Rachmaninov?

Awesome!!! ;D Thanks for the links, Steve... I really love the bonus track, from the Japanese edition of the CD, "Amazing", it's absolutely beautiful.. Too bad its not on "my" CD... I think the YouTube video is fan made... I wonder tho, is there a way to "save"/ download the song from the site??

Great find Steve! You have no idea how bad I have been wanting to watch this epk and see her play piano. I love the studio version of "Hello Boys" but I also love her acoustic rendition of the song. I couldn't have the studio tracks without the other-I love both ;D. Now this "Amazing" totally blew me away! Atlantic must be morons-how can you not release this song in the USA? I wonder if Andrea originally wanted this version of 'Hello Boys" on the album. Instead of ending TFH with the radio edit of "SOY" I would have ended the album with the slower version of "Hello Boys".

It's always a mystery to me how Atlantic choses the singles and why Japan always has bonus CDs. Maybe it's their way of generating international sales - by negotiating to have something more than the rest of the world. I like "Amazing" too.

Yup Steve no matter how people try to rationalize it to me I wont accept the explanation. If you have to give them something extra to sell the cd give them an average track instead of Miracle & Amazing! It's a shame because Amazing could have been a nice hit for Andrea. Nyoman?? ...If you go to the Xboard, @ the Corrs Club, you can download all Andrea's acoustic versions, with Anto Drennan playing guitar... Those are great, worth having!! Even better than the album versions, imo... ;D
