Perhaps it's too soon to get too excited, but a "music industry insider" publication called PRIMER CATÁLOGO Y CALENDARIO PROVISIONAL - Grandes lanzamientos en España 2008 has been published which indicates that the Corrs will return with album that is projected to be released in December 2008, apparently on the Warner Music Group label: Here's a snap of the article:  |

 New Corrs Album? Is this really official? Has COW announce something about it yet? Hope it's really true, really can't wait. ;D Desember 2008, hmmmm.....that's almost one year later.  Though I'll be patient to wait as usual. ;D  Hmmm... No Nyoman, it's not official and not confirmed, but it does give some hope, because this publication appears to be accurate with respect to other artists listed on the publication. Of corrs, we don't know whether the new CD will be a new studio album, or another compilation CD - an attempt by Warner Music Group Spain to take advantage of the good success that Andrea has had in Spain. Maybe it will be a release of songs in Spanish? A CD of Christmas music? A "Corrs Live" CD? Given the delay we experienced with Andrea's solo album, I wouldn't rely too much on the December 2008 release date. If past patterns hold true, the release might be more likely in Summer 2009. I know that is a long wait, but maybe -- just maybe -- it means that the Corrs are not finished and will be back.  |

Yes Yes!!! ;D This is wonderful news, if its true, & I hope that it is.. Thanks for posting about it, Steve.. It's just that, over at the "other board", they're already discussing a tour, & I think that's a little soon, when the prospect of a new album is still a year off.. And, we really haven't had any real "official" news yet.. (not that that's likely to happen anyway.. LOL!!! ..Is COW still in existance, I haven't checked?? ) ..I'm just going to let things play out, hopefully it happens.. But, I'm not getting my hopes up too high just yet.. Nice to hear "some" news tho.. |

Is this oficial? I had already seen this in a forum in Brazil. Hope it's true Anyway, it will only be released in Brazil about 2 months after the oficial release  |

No.. Not really "official" yet, Rodrigo... But, we don't normally get news from the official site, until after the fact anyway, so they aren't too reliable.. ;D ;D ..I hope it's true.. Something to hope for, anyway.. Yes, Nyoman... A compilation with some new material on it would be acceptable too.. ;D But, I'm hoping for a whole new ablum this time!!! ;D |

Of corrs, I'd also prefer an album of entirely new music, but I also would settle for some new type of collection that contained a few new songs (as they did with "Make You Mine" on the Best Of CD).
The OTHER thing to keep in mind is that this publication only covers the Spanish market. In other words, this album might be released only in Spain, just like the Special Edition of Dreams. My hope would be that the release, if there is one, will be more worldwide and will see a release in Asia, Australia and the Americas.
As far as I know, Rhino released "The Works" compilation only in the UK. I was really hoping that it would be released by Rhino US. I was prepared to tell friends to go out and buy it. Unfortunately that never happened.
Such limited releases don't help many Corrs fans all over the world who are eager for another album release by the Corrs, but who lack a credit card, etc. or cannot afford to buy an expensive import.
