I was watching a Belgian program on tv, called Plankenkoorts. And they showed the last few songs of RAH, and yes I was hopelessly addicted right away. Had to get their album the next day, and INLYA did actually make me really become a fan It was early 1999 at the time!

I would like to know: How did you discover the Corrs?- How did you first hear the Corrs?
- What song started your love?
* A friends who went to Ireland, came back with their CDs. I usually like Girls band (at that time there were the Bangles, Bananarama, etc.) and I liked the name "Corrs" which sounded familiar. * Queen of Hollywood ! Then I definitively fell in love when their concert at the Solidays 1999 was broadcasted at the french TV.

You have been a fan for quite a while! You know, I believe that I read somewhere that the Corrs are fans of The Bangles and have mentioned The Bangles as one of their influences.

You know, I believe that I read somewhere that the Corrs are fans of The Bangles and have mentioned The Bangles as one of their influences. I've just made some research about it and I've found a funny thing : www.going-down-to-germany.de/Fragen____/Questions___/questions___.html"The recent Bands who reminds on the Bangles the most are the Corrs and the Cardigans. The Cardigans with the high pitching voice of their singer Nina Persson and the 60’s sound and the Corrs with their Harmonie singing. The Corrs were recently called “the celtic Bangles” from a journalist. "

Well, how did I discover The Corrs? Well, I'm a rather new fan I saw "SummerSunshine" several times on TV and with everytime I saw the clip and listened to the songf I liked it more and more. And then one day, I guess I had too much money, hehe, spontaneous I went to a CD shop and bought "brrowed heaven" without knowing any of the songs except "Summersunshine" hehe. At home I listened to it several times. I at first fell in Love with Long night and Silver Strand. And then more and more I liked and started to loooover the whole album. In school then by accident I saw Daniel (you know him) giving "Unplugged" to a friend! That's how i got to know that he loves them too ha! And now as you know we are two huge fans

You had a good feeling then I would not dare buying a whole CD, just for a song (in case you don't like the others). At least I would try to hear the others songs on the album (in the shop or on Internet) So that must have been a great "surprise" for you ! What were you feeling when you discovered their previous albums ?

well, normaly I at first listen to the cd in the shop...but I guess I was in a hurry or something...don't know why i didn't listen to it in the shop hehe. But, hm...hjow did I feel when I discovered their previous albums? well, I guess i was rather impressed. y'know I only knew the new one, borrowed heaven and THAT was already an awesome album, but then i heard that their previous albums were great aswell, I was totally impressed! Y'know, I already said once that normaly the first album of a newcomer band is...okay...and the second is better and and and...ubt, when I listened to FNF, it was like, wow! Their music sounded already on the first album soooo professional...wow. (thanks by the way to swanny again who got me FNF ) well, and then, TOC and Inblue great great! I like evryone of the band, caro, jim, shaz, andrea, keith and antpo, because everybody gives his little part to the songs. Anto his Guitar riffs, and Jim Piano or also caracteristic riffs (talkin' for example about "radio" ) and Andrea finds awesome melodies fpor vocals and sharon for the violin and caro plays piano and I can tlka like that for the next 300 years! but that's what i really like. That every song, takes a little part of each member. And that creates such a great atmosphere, an atmosphere not every band has.

Wow, sometimes I wish I could live those special moments again, when you discover the new music and when you're so enthousiastic and excited about it.

Thanks, Brownie. I agree with Wiku about the research on the Bangles/Corrs connection! Very interesting! I like everyone of the band, caro, jim, shaz, andrea, keith and anto, because everybody gives his little part to the songs. Anto his Guitar riffs, and Jim Piano or also caracteristic riffs (talkin' for example about "radio" ) and Andrea finds awesome melodies fpor vocals and sharon for the violin and caro plays piano and I can talk like that for the next 300 years! but that's what i really like. That every song, takes a little part of each member. And that creates such a great atmosphere, an atmosphere not every band has. ;D ;D Excellent post, Snookyjojo! So true. Really well-said, and coming, too, from a person who knows about how a band works together. That's cool quote! Anyway, I enjoyed reading what you had to say! ;D ;D GREAT!
