I first heard the Corrs when I was watching a show and they had an ad for one of their shows and it was playing the video for Summer Sunshine. The song that started my love would probably have to be Summer Sunshine

I discovered the Corrs via Swantje... But I did know them already, although I did not stand still at that.

Then I definitively fell in love when their concert at the Solidays 1999 was broadcasted at the french TV. OMG, the video of their concert in Solidays is available at www.disfrutaloscorrs.com/ (673 MB) This one is special since this was the first time I saw them. (I didn't pay attention on the photos and covers in their CDs at that time) : Andrea so cute, Sharon so graceful. I really love this version of Run away.

Thank you so much, Brownie. And you were at Solidays? Wow! That must have been wonderful! ;D Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, I am running short on hard drive space right now... my 80 GB is almost completely full of Corrs videos!!! I'll have to archive them soon. I have been trying to wait until I get a DVD burner. I sure wish that some of these great legendary concerts and performances that were captured in quality video, such as "The Gathering" in Dublin 1997; Montreux 1998; Baden Baden 1998; Solidays 1999, Madrid (Musica) 2001, and the BBC 2 concert could be released in DVD format! I, for one, would go wild with joy! ;D

Thank you so much, Brownie. And you were at Solidays? Wow! That must have been wonderful! ;D Oups, no I wasn't. That was on TV in fact. Sorry if I'm not accurate enough. I'm not a video specialist but I also have a big version of the Solidays (big mpeg file of about 300Mb for each song). You should hurry to buy DVD burner. I have one now and this changed my life ;D

Even seeing it on TV at the time must be wonderful! I was so excited and hyper just to see the Paris RTL2 on the internet this past June 24! And, yes, I hope I can get the DVD burner very soon.

In 1999 they showed the unplugged concert on MTV and my sister and I where zapping around because we were bored and came across the concert coincidentally. I already knew some of their really old songs, like "The right time", so the band wasn´t completely new to me, but I heard these songs for the first time and they really got me. It was shortly before Christmas, so my sister and I got the unplugged cd as a present for Christmas. That´s how I became a fan!!! I really loved the music and the band in this concert and I still do!!!

I'm excited that we have some great new members... aaaaaand I was wondering if they could answer this topic. I am always curious about how the huge Corrs fans discovered the Corrs in the first place.....
Any volunteers???
