Forgiven Not Forgotten: Toss The Feathers, Heaven Knows, Carraroe Jig good choice but rather odd for me....none of them released as a single Well, actually I recently became aware that "Heaven Knows" was released. Sort of... because it was only in Japan. It is one of the hardest of all Corrs CDs to find. This promotional studio version (ASCD 122 - see below) was recorded on 18 February 1996 at the Warner Music Studios in Tokyo, Japan and issued in Japan in June 1996 as a trailer for the Corrs' appearances in that country. This rare 4 track CD is highly sought after collector's item and sells for upwards of 150€ or over $200 USD. I don't have it. I wish I did, though.

Good choices, Nyoman! I didn't know that there was a version of MTV Unplugged that has "Rainy Day" as a bonus track! That's interesting. I had to get "Rainy Day" as a studio track on the Japanese Corrs Live album. Was the "Rainy Day" recording you chose made live during the MTV Unplugged session??? I thought that your choices for In Blue were interesting, too. Those are all songs that appear later in the album (#9, #12, #14 on my editions) and none were the big hits for the band, which is true of quite a few of peoples' favourites. "Hurt Before" is a great song. I enjoy the harmonies on "Rain" and "All In A Day." Do you know why "Rain" is called "Rain"? I have always wondered that. And your choices also illustrate how great the Corrs are at covering the songs of other writers. For example: Live In Dublin : - Summer Wine - Ruby Tuesday - Only Love Can Break Your Heart (I guess!) All three of your choices on the Live in Dublin CD are covers. "Summer Wine" was written by Lee Hazlewood; "Only Love Can Break Your Heart" was written by Neil Young; and "Ruby Tuesday" was written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. I like those songs, too. Thanks for posting your favourites, Nyoman!

Before I reply I need to ask a few questions
1)when it's "In Blue" or "Talk on Corners" can you include songs from the "Special Editions"(remixes and extra songs)? (I haven't got the originals of these two, I've only got the special editions!) 2) I suppose you missed out "The Corrs Live" (because not many have it, I've got the Japanese version but not the original) and the Compilations are not on here because all the songs are on other albums (I was thinking they were pointless) 3) And I was thinking what about in BH can "Miracle" be included (because that's one of my favourite's but it's only a bonus track on some versions of this CD)
PS by the way you don't need to answer the "2)" because I already know the answer (Which is what I said) I was wondering about "1)! and "3)"
thanks
PPS sorry for not posting something relevant to the thread I just didn't think the first post was specific enough!

But It's the same with "Humdrum" That doesn't appear in the lyrics I don't think PS I hope I not breaking rules posting two consecutive posts!

It's a beautiful song - of corrs you can list it. thanks PPS sorry for not posting something relevant to the thread I just didn't think the first post was specific enough! Thank YOU! I thought you brought up good points.

I have the lyrics to "Humdrum" on both the American and Australian versions of Borrowed Heaven, and I have the lyrics to "Rain" on both the American and Australian versions of In Blue. Don't worry! You're not in trouble for two in a row! I just did it too *lol*

Excellent choices, carolinefanatic! ;D
You really like "No More Cry", I see. I just love the lyrics. When I first heard "No More Cry", I knew that this wasn't going to be typical pop group. On top of being a great musician, performer, actor, model, Andrea is a fantastic lyricist - always seeming to create something deep or thought-provoking with her wordcraft.

Forgiven not forgotten: Heaven knows, toss the feathers, love to love you
Talk on corners: So young, hopelessly addicted, I never loved you anyway
MTV Unplugged: no frontiers, everybody hurts, what can I do
In blue: (can't it be the whole album??) breathless, hurt before, rebel heart
Live in Dublin: when the stars go blue, breathless, so young
Borrowed heaven: silver strand, confidence for quiet, summer sunshine, angel, goodbye, hideaway, long night... sorry, I can't choose three in this one!
Home: Old town, dimming of the day, my lagan love
