hi everybody! Since there are quite a few Cecelia Ahern fans here (including me) I think this really is a topic we could talk about. Fpr example, I loved the book and...well, haven´t seen the movie yet...i´m not really sure whether i should watch it or not... dunno if i´d like it or not. Did anybody of you see it already?

hi Caro! Yes I read the book too and loved it. I haven't seen the movie yet though. I know Katie saw it and told me that it was better than she would have expected as we are always a bit critical when we know a movie is never the same as the actual book. So I think I will watch the movie one day.

Curiosity will get the better of me and I'll watch it too, I think, especially after Katie said it was better than she expected.

I saw it, but I found it very disappointing.
The film bore hardly any resemblance to the book. The book was so excellent that I fail to understand why they wanted to depart from the original story so very much. Other than the basic concept, very little of the original story made it into the film. Not only that, but they made mistakes in the portrayal of the character of Holly Kennedy that lessened the significance of her journey from helpless grief to confident hope.
If you try very hard in your mind to completely forget about the book, then maybe the movie might not be so disappointing, but I do hope that one day a more faithful film version will be made. In my mind, this Richard LaGravenese edition will never be the definitive film version of this excellent novel.

Okay, I saw the movie! I heard so much about that novel, that I was a bit disappointed too... I gotta have to put my hand on that book to understand why everyone was so in love with it! The good thing is that it can only be better than that movie! P.S : I love that actor who plays the part of William (Jeffrey Dean Morgan ) P.S bis : just get the book today... will get back after I'm done
