..... and perhaps a strong inkling as to WHY John Hughes wanted him for the Corrs .... and why he proved a "perfect fit" musically for them. This is a small clip of Davy Spillanes "Mystic Seacliffs" from his 1991 album "Out of The Air" with Davy on Uilleann pipes and Anto having a blast on the Strat. The two were old colleagues from their early 80's stint with famous Irish folk rck group Moving Hearts and have continued to collaborate from time to time since. www.youtube.com/watch?v=oWDps00tivI

I enjoy the music of Davy Spillane. The Corrs were certainly fortunate to have Anto, with all his experience playing pop and Celtic music. He also has played with either Clannad or Moya Brennan (after she went solo); I don't remember which or if it is both. He seems to find himself playing with the best, and it's no surprise.
