Sharon, Cara & Hayley .... some charm & some vocal talent in that line-up. Saw the snaps a little while back. The bear reminds me of a similar appeal that has been held annually in Sydney for the Childrens Hospital for the best part of 20 years. .... Bandaged Bear Day. I've heard that the bear signed by Sharon & Cara is being auctioned for charity.
Re Hayley, there has been an interesting development with her & Twitter. The Twitter ID WAS originally a fan operation but via negotiation with her fans, she - herself - has personally taken over the account. Have done a little investigating and it appears that SHE values fan interaction & holds periodic fan chat sessions. During the Solo Artist comp, it was very interesting to observe that her fan-base (which shares some similar geographics with "ours") ran a very similar "round the clock" operation. There was/is a definite cross-over with fan-bases as there was acknowledgement & appreciation from both sides for "vote-sharing".

OK, here is the clip for "All You Need Is Love" ... certain ladies DO get a degree of camera time (we wonder why .. lol). www.youtube.com/watch?v=pBsXOKvi3SsAND we may have a little Corrs Christmas surprise .... The following was part of the release announcement for All You Need In December, we will be releasing a double A side single for the Christmas market. We don’t expect to take on the X factor, but it would be rather wonderful if we could make number One, the week that Sir Terry Wogan retires from the breakfast show. What a wonderful Christmas present for Sir Terry. We did not realise it but when Sir Terry and Aled reached number 3 in the charts, it was the highest either of them had ever been.
So we have recorded two fantastic songs, firstly “Silver Bells” recorded by Sir Terry and Aled Jones and produced by Jon Kelly and Wix (as last year), but the other terrific track is “Me and my Teddy bear” recorded by the wonderful Sharon Corr. They both very beautiful, very traditional Christmas songs, which we hope you will all love. They will be available as a download and again we hope to get them in a high street store. If we all agree to buy on the same day (or week 7th 12th December) then who knows, we may well get them all into the number one slot the week before Christmas.

Hey! That is a lot of fun! Thanks for posting that, Wombat. I posted the link over at The Broken Bridge (Cara Dillon forum) and it has been very well received. It does seem it was sung in a very difficult key for the ladies but they did a heckuva job. It's so thrilling to see Sharon and Cara (and Haley too) working together for a good cause! AND we may have a little Corrs Christmas surprise .... The following was part of the release announcement for All You Need

I'll buy a single with Sharon singing "Me and My Teddy Bear" - I wonder what it will be like? A children's song about Pudsey? I always wanted the Corrs to do a Christmas album. Even Bob Dylan is doing a Christmas album! Thanks for the news! Great job at ferreting (or, erm, wombating) out the news!

Here's a little follow-up to her "on-going" involvment with Children In Need. This morning (Fri Nov 7), Sharon appeared on ITV UK's GMTV morning program with stage star Lee Mead. Here is a clip of the interview www.youtube.com/watch?v=0E9yPGNBRSkIs there ANYBODY (apart from Mr Bonnar) that she HASN'T totally charmed during the entire album/publicity process ?

Thanks, CW. Great interview! Yes, she's very charming and affable and she transitions to "tongue in cheek" with such ease. I don't know. Some of our "Cazzers" here have been notably silent during the unfolding of events with Sharon's solo album. Not too many jumping in with any comments.

Sadly, one regrets to report that Mr Bonnar has NOT responded to his wife's philanthropic activities in a manner befitting an officer & a gentlemen. He has used Twitter as an avenue to advertise his own personal crusade "Husbands In Need" aka HIN & outlined various potential attention-seeking stunts.
Needless to say, "She Who Must Be Obeyed" has been less than thrilled and has responded "HIN also v important cause! NOT!". Post her GMTV appearance, she spent yesterday shooting a video for "Me & My Teddy-Bear" and Mr Bonnar seemingly a little green around the gills hence her announcement "Pudsey and I are in love, HIN disturbed to say the least!"
Gavin, you have been found insufficiently cuddly ... Goodbye !!
