No ... nothing as drastic as the Ms Twitter comps. Just a voting comp for Twitter & YouTube users where you nominate a User in particular categories. We have 4 days until they cull each category down to a Top 5. This came to Mr Bonnar's attention a week or so back & he's been "quite demanding" about us getting behind Da Missus. Some of we "less reverent" souls have taken to casting votes for Him under "Funniest to Follow" ... which he has taken in the right spirit. Unlike Ms Twitter .... no hours at the keyboard required logging stacks of votes. In fact, you can only vote ONCE daily per category. Here is the link: www.mashable.com/owaThe main categories we've been voting in have been Best Musical Artist to Follow; Best Celebrity to Follow; Best YouTube Channel. Just follow the Twitter streams to get a further idea.

Thanks for explaining this! I had seen the nominations on Twitter and thought, "Very fine and good, but when do we vote?" I didn't really understand the process and had never seen it explained by anyone on Twitter. I looked at the website and it has a timeline: Timeline
Nominations: October 14th - November 15th, 2009 For the 3rd Annual Open Web Awards, due to popular demand, Mashable has extended the nominations period until Sunday, 11:59 PM EST, November 15th, 2009. Nominations have already begun as of October 14th, 2009.
Voting: November 18th - December 13th, 2009 There will only be one round of voting this year and it will last until Sunday, 11:59 pm EST, December 13th.
The nominations will be counted and verified and only the top 5 nominees in each category will move forward to the voting round.
Winner Announcements: Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 Just in time for the holiday season, Mashable and Motorola will announce the winners on Tuesday, December 15th, 2009 on Mashable.com. We wish everyone luck throughout the competition.I noticed some time ago that the Twitterwall phenomenon crashed and burned. Man, after all that work too! So much for Sharon's victories being enshrined forever in the Twitterwall Hall of Fame!
