The Boss Lady posted the following on her website for " le Padraig"
"Hi Guys,
Lots, lots, lots happening at the moment!
Should be able to tell all within a couple of weeks once we’ve signed off on all the details.
Thanks for all your patience and support.
Love always,
Sharon xxx"
Her No.1 cheerleader ... or should that read Chief Packmule has just Tweeted the following to Ross Hemsworth of Glastonbury Radio ... who gave her a massive wrap after last years Glasto performance
" Check out her site in a little while for some mega-exciting news. And keep that between us & twitterverse "
Speaking of our hapless friend, one seriously hopes that he does NOT forget a certain momentous occaision next Wednesday. One shudders to think of the consequences of such a lapse .... the indignity of wearing a blue wig into court may be the least of them. Finding refuge in any state with no extradition treaty with Ireland may be the order of the day !

Here is "Mr Packmule" on duty. No doubt wondering how all those years of legal studies has lead to this ... carting violin & Tweetbox for "She Who Must Be Obeyed" In his latest Tweet, Gav HAS made quite clear the reason for the delay. "Ooops. We are soooo close but bloody lawyers etc mean she can't speak til every last iota sorted. That good enough for ya! "The harsh realities, which most fans remain blissfully ignorant thereof, are that there ARE such issues as "commercial confidentiality" & when dealing with major recording labels/production companies & theire legal representatives, you are dealing with some of the "biggest sharks in the water".

What news on the album? Is it still being worked out with the lawyers?
Reminds me of a quote I once read: "Everything takes longer than you think, even when you EXPECT it to take longer than you think."
And another quote from someone else: "If you think the problem is bad now, just wait until we've solved it."

In between his customary bickering with yours truly & sounding off from his soapbox, Mrs Bonnar's number one fan & publicist dropped in the following little piece of news.
"Sharon and Alex in Madrid end of April...beginning of it all..."
That would imply that release is iminent. Do think she's been very smart hitting the Spanish market. Quite simply the combination with Alex Ubago "worked" on Amarrado a Ti" so it might be interesting just what they may target in this market. Buenos Aires certainly has me curious.

I saw some some tweeting about that. I agree that Spain is a smart move for promotion of Sharon's album. I take it that Sharon will join Alex Ubago during his dates 23-25 of April in Barcelona and Madrid? Friday, 23 April, at 10:00 pm., Acoustic Concert at the Oshum Club, Av. G. Marañón, 17, de Barcelona. Information at www.oshumclub.comSaturday, 24 April, at 10:00 pm., Acoustic Concert Concierto at the Auditorio Municipal de Vilafranca del Penedès (Barcelona). Concert de Sant Jordi - 40PP. Sunday, 25 April - Between 5:00 and 8:00 pm. - Pop Concert at the Escenario Callao en la Gran Vía de Madrid. Yes, I'm guessing that, if Sharon is on stage at these concerts of Alex Ubago, then - at least at the acoustic gigs in Barcelona - they might use it as an occasion to perform "Buenos Aires" in addition to "Amarrado a Ti". If so, that would signal the start of promotion of Sharon's album in Spain.
