The new video for "Goodbye 2006" can be seen here (courtesy of Warner Music NL): www.warnermusic.nl/Some have said that they're having trouble getting it to play, but if you are able to watch it, tell us what you think. It has sparked a lot of discussion over at the Corrs Club.

Thanks for the link Steve!
I think the video is really beautiful and really sad, too. It nearly made me cry. All of a sudden it just hit me how much I miss The Corrs and their music. Everything I wanted in that moment was to have The Corrs back as a band, just like it was during the BH time and have their music back. I was kind of overwhelmed with a feeling of missing you (my friends) a lot and missing Ireland a lot, too.
I so hope that this album is gonna be a great success for the band!!!

I seriously should not have watched it. Why did it make you sad?

Yes, it made me VERY VERY sad. In various ways. Kind of what Sabine explained before. I want my Corrs back.

I think it's okay if it makes you feel sad. I reacted that way too.
Others didn't read much into it, thinking that some employee of Stylorouge was asked to use existing film footage of the Corrs to come up with a montage video that fits with a song entitled "Goodbye".
Still others see the video as just one more clue out of many which hint that the Corrs are feeling a desire to call it quits as a musical act. They point to remarks given to the audience at Ischgl and comments which appear on the ATWH DVD.
Personally, I like to prepare myself for the worst, but to hope for the best. I AM still hopeful. The Corrs love music. They have made no announcements. Sometimes it feels to me that even THEY don't know what they want to do. They are too busy with their families. It may be a while before we know who is right.
I really like this mix of "Goodbye" and I do love the video. To me, it has more power than the "Summer Sunshine" video, for example.

Well said Steve!!!
I´m also among those people who are still hoping and wishing for the Corrs to continue with their music, because this world would for sure be more dull without them.
So, let´s all hope for the best.

Wally at TheCorrsmisc has uploaded the video (534 x 300 in size) to his site: www.thecorrsmisc.com/videos/It's an 85.8 mb MPEG Layer3 .avi file (24 bit DivX format). I thought the video was really done well.
