Yes, Billy Joel is one of the great songwriters. I remember listening to his 52nd Street on LP. Then when I left home for college, it disappeared! But he has written some great songs... "Piano Man," "I Love You Just The Way You Are," "She's Got A Way," and many others.
I was watching the film 13 Going On 30 (because I am a Jennifer Garner fan) and I thought this film really used his song "Vienna" very well in the movie.

Hey? Do you mean with "disappeared" that you lost it or something? Yeah, I was attending an orientation for college at the time my family moved and NONE of my LP albums survived the move! So I lost them forever. My parents said they don't know what happened to them either. Fortunately, I "only" owned about 12 LPs.

ooooooh that's really sad . But funny that one of your first 12 LPs was one by Billy Joel! Does he actually still release new albums or go on tour or something? Is he American or from the UK or Ireland? AH! i'm soooooo not well informed hahaha!

Billy Joel is an American from New York City, I believe. I know just last month he performed to hundreds of thousands of people in Rome with another artist you've heard of, Caro. Take a look HERE.

I think you were in Bulgaria at the time, hihi. I think you already know that, though. I posted about it in my very final post *sniff* at the BAFB. I think that the "cover" song mentioned is the final song that they performed as a duet - a cover of "Honky Tonk Woman" by the Rolling Stones.
