Very interesting!! It does look very professional in terms of its graphics. It's a site registered with GoDaddy.com.
We'll have to keep a watch out for it. Thanks for letting us know.

A fan from CC said that Gavin (Sharon's hubby) already registered another domain for her official site. It's called SharonCorr.comI'm kind a confused about it, but if it's true then it would be nice if her husband tried to help her, doesnt it? ;D

This is what the a search of the domain name shows: (Asked whois.netnames.com:43 about sharoncorr.com) Registrant: gavin bonnar [ address removed by DazedOblivion] UK Domain name: sharoncorr.com Created on: 2008-09-17 Expires on: 2018-09-17 Administrative contact: Easily Limited 3rd Floor Prospero House 241 Borough High Street London SE1 1GA UK 44.8704589450 44.8704589458 domain-admin@easily.co.uk Technical contact: Easily Limited 3rd Floor Prospero House 241 Borough High Street London SE1 1GA UK 44.8704589450 44.8704589458 domain-admin@easily.co.uk Domain name servers: dns0.easily.co.uk 213.161.76.87 dns1.easily.co.uk 217.206.221.213 So the official site looks like it will be sharoncorr.com but a fanclub site may exist at the other site. We'll just have to wait and see. Keep watching these sites and we'll see what happens! I'm just so pleasantly surprised by this whole thing. I'm also wondering about which record label will be releasing Sharon's CD.

Therein lies one of the major issues facing the Corrs (singular or collective) should they wish to continue in the recording industry.
They were shunted by Warner Music to their "curio" label Rhino for "Home" and there certainly will not be any effort undertaken on their behalf as regards promotion. Jim's public utterances over the past year will NOT help with the US labels at all and possibly closed some doors.
There are certainly options open to them ...... but not probably not the situation they'd ideally want to be dealing with ... and will require a lot of spadework by John Hughes and themselves.
I suspect that the production of Sharon's album may be concluded end Q1 09 but release an entirely different matter.

Great detective work Steve! It could be that gavin registered the domain to prevent someone else from obtaining it but my guess is he's smart and knows Sharon will have to establish an official site. If I were him I would make sure my partner had all the support she needed. This is where Andrea could have used someone to watch out for her.

Yes, I agree that the Corrs have received Shabby treatment since 2004, and I think that they just aren't ever going to get a fair chance with Atlantic now that the supporters at the label have all gone elsewhere. I would like to see the Andrea/Sharon/The Corrs consider starting their own label and using a distribution company. If I were him I would make sure my partner had all the support she needed. This is where Andrea could have used someone to watch out for her. Yes, the way that Andrea's website was neglected was very disappointing. So much more could have been done. I hope that Gavin will see to it that Sharon's site is handled better.
