Firstly an interesting Tweet from the Boss Lady "Guys, we are mastering the single at mo the choice I'll keep as a little surprise. Promise to announce here when ready..nite nite" Folk from the CC have been twittering with Herself. This is the gist of the communication "I asked if "it's not a dream" would be the actual single and she answered saying that it would be "a single", so I inferred that it wouldn't be the first one at all... "Interesting ..... Secondly, she now has a gallery on the website www.sharoncorr.com/gallery/Stills from the EPK & IOW pics are posted along with shots from pre-IOW rehearsals. Here are a few. She does seem to be enjoying herself and here's hoping she keeps posting the snaps. From these and the IOW pics, it appears that Bluey is back as Official Stage Violin to Her Majesty. He even has his own stand for when he is not being played ..... no doubt so he can be admired by his adoring public !! ;D Whilst he is entitled to have an ego, one hopes he doesn't develop into a total diva and start making too many demands !!

Great info, Wombat! I can't wait for the EPK. Ah yes! Good to see "Bluey" again! Do we know the identify of her producer? I think he's in some of the Windmill Lane photos. Also, do fans know which record label is involved and how the album will be distributed? I noticed that Sharon's own caption to her photo with Jason ("Awwww lovely Jay!") is slightly different than the Wombat version!

Also, do fans know which record label is involved and how the album will be distributed? I noticed that Sharon's own caption to her photo with Jason ("Awwww lovely Jay!") is slightly different than the Wombat version! No probs, it's been very entertaining tracking this. With regards to His Excellency Lord Bluey; an instrument with stage presence is required and stage presence is something HE has !! Nobody has been identified. I'm tending to think that she is keeping executive control of things. Billy Farrell is the guy with the flat-top; he did a lot of programming for the Corrs and was the F in the DFHM production team for In Blue. What IS clear is that Sharon DID NOT spend all those hours in the studio just looking in the mirror and fixing her make-up. Absolutely nothing known. I'm almost certain she remains a Warner artist (the Bryn Terfel credits stated ... courtesy of Warner) yet fans have approached Warner and been given a negative response. Going Indie/small label WILL definitely limit the distrubution range/promotional budget unless (1) you stump up considerable sums on yr own and/or (2) a deal is struck with a major label. What she HAS been doing in energising the fans worldwide (esp if they pressure local radio/divisions of record cos) may see the latter come about. Ah but we don't know HOW she said it !! She may indeed think he is a lovely lad (much nicer than that brother who was such a baaaad influence on sister Caroline) or she may have put a completely different inflection on the word "lovely" indicating that he may soon be swapping accomodation with the dog !!! Further news: 1. She has confessed to a Twitter addiction: Woke up this morning singing 'Tweet tweet the memories you gave me...' kind of addictive this little thing...2. She is a House fan. Knew the woman had taste; why not get her on the show .... House does have a thing for beautiful women and it WOULD give her US airtime. . Hey, after years of dealing with Jin & the lads, Dr House would be a pushover !! Nite nite guys! Away to my leaba...to watch House. Love that show! Sarcoid anyone? x (leaba = Gaelic for bed) 3.Intends UK tour 4. Apart from being flattered and amused by the MS Twitter comp, There will be 2 instrumentals on the album. Been in the studio all day laying down some tracks. Two trad pieces I played at IOW and EPO. I see you guys voting me up the wall!5. She is on the cover of the 2009 Hotpress yearbook. 6. She is FULLY cognisant of the value of her interactions with the "net" fanbase. Just been discussing that... addictive. Great way for me to get feedback on the music as I release single, album and start gigging.

Saw this comment posted on her website and thought it may be worth posting.
Hello Sharon, Just wanted to say it was an honour and pleasure to have you and your crew stay at our hotel this weekend for the Isle of Wight festival and me and all the staff would like to thank you for the kind words that were passed on to our boss….just watched the clips from your performance as was unable to see you live due to work but sounded awesome and cant wait for the album. Thanks again and good luck with it all!! Helen and all the staff at the Albion.
Whilst it may not seem anything at all in the big scheme of things; it probably speaks a great deal about the way she is going about their business. Enough said

Wow! Thanks monitoring the twitter channels, Wombat! Great news that the album draws nigh. (This new communicativeness takes some getting used to, but it's wonderful!)

Latest from the Boss (official site).
Hi Guys,
Just finished another great week in the studio! Laid down four more tracks, 2 trad (which are rockin!) and 2 songs - Ears Painted On (a new track of mine) and a cover of Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime by the Korgis. Had a lot of fun and laughs in the studio. So, we are getting closer to the finish line and of course I’ll let you all know when the release will be.
Thanks for voting me up the Twiiter Wall, It’s been lovely getting to know you all a bit more, so keep it up! Very addictive! I think I have twittering issues already!!
We’re off to Glastonbury on Sunday and I can’t wait to get back on stage! Your responses to the Isle of Wight performance have been inspirational and I love that you love the new tracks!
As you see the website is taking shape, and is very much lead by your opinions and suggestions. Thanks again for leaving such positive messages.
See you soon, Love,
Sharon xxx
She'd Twittered us during the week about the 2 instrumentals, but a sensible move ... braoadens the "mix" of the album. "Everybody's Gotta Learn Sometime" .... interesting to see how that one works. We know she's performed it a few times with Zucchero ... but fronting it ? Still ... so far she HAS surprised us.

A restrained Tweeting day from the boss lady. Some "down time", no doubt attending to such things as starving children, neglected husband .... as tomorrow will be full day rehearsal for Glasto .. rejigging the set.
Main news: "The second part of the EPK is out this weekend. Nite x" and "just picking cover for first single , very exciting!"
WILL be interested to see the cover photo for her album. Have we already seen it ?? It would not surprise to see the photo she has used on her official site/Twitter page. Quite simply one of the best photos ever taken of her ..... and there's plenty of competition in that category.

Latest official site update. Gotta give her credit, she certainly HAS been listening to the fans; they've been asking about her band and she's responded. June 25th, 2009 Hi Guys,
I am on the Acoustic Stage at Glastonbury Festival, 7.45pm this Sunday.
Joining me will be Anto Drennan, Tony Molloy on bass, Jay Duffy on Drums, Conor Brady, Shane McVicar on keys, Gerry O’Connor on banjo/mandolin and Roberta Howett singing backing vocals. Doing a one hour set and will feature something old, something new and something trad.Rehearsals all day tomorrow.
By the way for those of you who haven’t noticed I’ve become totally addicted to Twitter! It’s a great place to interact and have a laugh! So come say hi - twitter.com/sharon_corr
I’ve also picked the cover for the Single and the Album, so watch this space!See you at Glasto!
Oh and a huge thanks to all the fans voting for me to be Ms Twitter! You’re doing an amazing job!!Lots of love,
Sharon xxxHave already told Steve but she replied to my Tweet enquiry re Keith (BTW, it appears she HAS cast a beady green eye over CFB as it seems she's "rumbled" me as my Twitter ID is different) "Don't you worry, cw! He'll be back.....there's only one A-team he wants to be part of...." Not a bad crew behind her !! Three with extensive Corrs experience (one who could probably be classified as an integral member). I suspect they may have played a large part in recruiting the extra members. Tony Molloy has an extensive background in celtic/folk-rock esp with Sharon Shannon and has worked extensively with Anto over the years especially with Davy Spillane. Gerry O'connor is probably Ireland's pre-eminent banjo player and worked with Jace in Lord of the Dance. She may have given up the smokes but it appears that another "vice" is beyond hope !! "love coffee, the thought of getting up without it is utterly devastating, grind fresh in morn, yummy"Tweeted her a few days ago about release in OZ and got a reponse a few hours back. "Just thinking about Australia, we had some very happy times there , u guys certainly know how to party !" ;D

Hmm... How could everyone got the message back directly from her in Twitter? Since I've been sent her a message which questioning "if there's a possibility for Asian's releases dates?", but didn't receive any reply from her. I've been following her so I don't understand what's wrong. Did you just sent a message from her Twitter "homepage" or from your Twitter "homepage"?

My recollection is that I sent them from HER page (clicked message then typed & sent). I got a reply within minutes to my first Tweet; sent my follow-up shortly afterwards .... and got the reply a couple of days later.
Think it can be partly a matter of timing; catching her online at the time otherwise a matter of waiting for her to get through the backlog. Part of my second Tweet concerned release down this (OUR) part of the world. Didn't exactly get an answer to that though she has indicated to some that she is hoping to release in Japan, which was less of an old Corrs market than Oz & Asian markets like the Phils.
WILL be worth sniffing out who her distributor will be; if fans can find this out then they CAN bring pressure to bear on their local divisions for release in their market. Whilst this WON'T work in all circumstances; the regional offices WILL recognise there IS a demand to be met ... and will report this up the line.

She may have given up the smokes but it appears that another "vice" is beyond hope !! "love coffee, the thought of getting up without it is utterly devastating, grind fresh in morn, yummy"I have the same vice, and I know exactly what she means! That's fantastic that you got a response to your question about Australia, CW. It would be a great thing if she could touch bases with the Australian die-hard fans. Nyoman, I do hope that you'll get an answer about Asia. I know that she went on vacation fairly close to you, so - just like Andrea - she likes your part of the world.
