Does anybody have the song "Miracle"?? "Miracle" is a bonus track on the Borrowed Heaven releases in France (November 2004 re-release), Japan, Australia and New Zealand (as far as I know) but not on the other releases such as in the U.K., Asia, Latin America, or the U.S. I don't have "Miracle" on my U.S. Borrowed Heaven release. Was it on the German CD? I have heard an .mp3 of "Miracle" but I want to own it. It is absolutely beautiful and touching song with unbelievable harmonies in the chorus. I think it rightfully belongs on the album, because it fits in with the overall theme of "Borrowed Heaven" - the wonder and miracle of new life and how we should appreciate the gift of life. I wonder if this song was written by Jim, Sharon, and/or Andrea with Caroline (and baby Jake/Georgina) in mind? Or was it written by Caroline herself? Does anybody know the story about this song? Why was it left off most releases? "Miracle" is my favorite song right now. The first time I heard it, I didn't think that much of it, but the more I hear it, the more I am liking it.
I like to think that the "Miracle" was written as a gift to Caroline from Jim, Sharon and Andrea. The reason I think this is because it sounds like there are no percussion instruments in the song, meaning perhaps that Caroline wasn't involved in recording it. I'm not sure, but is that Andrea singing backing vocals with Sharon??
It's amazing to think Uncle Jim, and Aunt Sharon and Aunt Andrea got together to write this song for Jake, maybe Georgina, or both. I'd sure like to know the story behind this song!

I got the chance to listen to "Mirrical" once when I watched a fan-video. A fan made a "B&GFCC" video-clip with "Mirrical" being played....I think I must have it somewhere....I better find it again, ´cause I remember that I totally LOVED the song from the very first tune to the end...I still got the chorus inside of my head...wonderful song! But to tell you my opinion on the "gift for Caro" idea, I´d have to listen to it again, first.
I´m trying to get my hands on one of the "BH-Mirrical" editions....did not succeed yet...

I just found the edition of Borrowed Heaven with the "Miracle" bonus track online as an import at the website of a U.S. retailer (overstock.com). It said " limited quantity!", so I acted impulsively purchased it. I may be eating peanut butter sandwiches at lunch , but soon I will be a proud (legitimate) owner of "Miracle," a song that really touches me.

I know the hot items right now are Home CD and the All The Way Home DVD, but I just pulled out of my mailbox the Australian edition of Borrowed Heaven with "Miracle." I am real happy to have this CD. I really think that this song should be on the album as the last song. One of the themes of Borrowed Heaven is that gift of life should be appreciated because every moment is borrowed from heaven. After the songs that deal with the loss of the Corr's mother, Jean Corr, I think it only fitting that the album conclude with this song of new life. Borrowed Heaven is really a deep album, and I don't think most critics appreciated this fact.
