The Corrs sued for song theft

According to Contactmusic.com The Corrs are being sued by a Los Angeles songwriter, who claims they stole his tune for their 2000 hit "Breathless".

Jenesee Ricco is demanding $50,000 from the group's record company Atlantic Records, claiming the Irish family ripped off their tune from his own, also entitled "Breathless".

He tells news show "Celebrity Justice", "It was just stolen. I wanna get paid for that song. They don't have the right to just take it."

The Corrs' hit single "Breathless" was written by Andrea Corr together with famous producer and song writer Robert "Mutt" Lange".

Oh well, it happens every now and then that bands or songwriters, what-so-ever are being sued because someone says they stole his/her song....we shouldn´t pay too much attention to this. Because I guess that guy just wants to get attention an d a lota money....

(But anyway, sometimes it really happens that two people who live in two different parts of the world write similar songs, which doesn´t mean that one of them stole the song from the other...I mean...some poeple also write similar short stories or novels, it´s just coinicidences....)

all it is is that some guy wants a slice of the pie, so to speak. anyway, we all know that they didnt steal breathless, as it was written by our very own andrea and mutt lange.

Oh my gosh...what the...?! Oh, my poor ears! Well, if you ask me, I´d say the quality of the song is REALLY bad...I´m not quite sure if it´s a lack of quality or if the song actually is supposed to be like this! But even if there´s a problem with the quality and all...the song does not remind me of "Breathless" AT ALL!
