A long time ago, before heading back to Ireland from New York, the Corrs manager, John Hughes, picked up the telephone and he heard these words: "When you get home go out and spend a fortune on a big meal on behalf of the record company because you've got yourselves a record deal, you're signed."Those words were spoken by Jason Flom, founder of Lava, the Corrs label at Atlantic Records, at that time head of A&R at Atlantic Records. Flom was an early believer in the Corrs and was instrumental in the success of the Corrs. In August 2005 he left Atlantic Records and just recently he was named CEO at Virgin Records (see story HERE. With the Corrs at the end of their contract with Atlantic and looking for a new record label, might this be good news for the Corrs? Maybe... maybe not. I also heard news that, due to a corporate shuffle involving Virgin, EMI and Warner, fate may have Flom again working under Warner, the company he just left. I just hope the Corrs can get a company that stands behind them and promotes their music the way it OUGHT to be promoted, including in the United States.

Wow, that sounds really, really good in my opinion. Hope that it´ll all work out very good for them with a new record deal.
