No New Material Planned For The Corrs

Andrea Corr has warned fans of The Corrs not to expect any new material from the group in the near future.

The singer has confirmed that there are no current plans to release new singles as the rest of the Irish group are too busy.

"The rest of the family are all pretty busy as they are off having babies and raising families," Andrea told the Daily Star. "I'm concentrating on my acting at the moment."

This really isn't news, but I believe that it is a good thing that Andrea has communicated this to the fans. We can only wish the very best for the Corrs family... and be patient.

I was really wondering what was going on because there were no news at all ...sooo...but at least now we know that the Corrs are not planning anything, so we can get used to the thought of waiting which is much better then the thought of not expecting new material at all, right? I mean in the article it says "in the near future"...don't ya think?

Yes, you're exactly right, Caro. By saying not to expect anything in the near future, Andrea seems to be telling us that there will be, after some family time, future things planned for the Corrs. So this message from Andrea is both HELPFUL and HOPEFUL....helpful in that fans can relax a bit, and hopeful in letting us know that a future still exists for the Corrs.

And actually I'm glad that they care about family! It's much better to be fan of a band who cares about family and lives a normal and good life than rockstars whoa re great musicians,too, but work and work and work and then someday they simply don't have the strength anymore and...you know what happens...

I like that the corrs are standing with 8 feet on the ground! yep! my opinion! hehe
