Thanks Egle! It's a 3-CD set and due for release by Rhino Records on 27 August 2007 (only one month from now), and still we don't know anything about what's on it. So far, Play.com is the only site that I can find that is listing this set. Rhino Records doesn't even seem to have any information yet on this set. Speculation is that it is yet ANOTHER compilation. The optimistic among us are hoping for a CD full of unreleased material or rarities. www.rhino.com/store/SearchResults.lasso?SearchTerm=corrsWe shall find out soon.

Okay, it IS another compilation. The tracklist came out at Play.com: Disc 1Runaway Dreams What Can I Do Irresistible I Never Loved You Anyway Love To Love You Forgiven Not Forgotten Leave Me Alone Secret Life The Right Time Heaven Knows Someday Closer Leave Me Alone When He's Not Around Don't Say You Love Me Love Gives Love Takes Hopelessly Addicted Erin Shore (Instrumental) Disc 2Breathless So Young Radio Give Me A Reason Only When I Sleep Intimacy Queen Of Hollywood No Good For Me Little Wing All The Love In The World All In A Day At Your Side No More Cry Give It All Up Say One Night Rain Hurt Before Rebel Heart Disc 3Summer Sunshine Angel Long Night Old Town Heart Like A Wheel Black Is The Colour Haste To The Wedding No Frontiers Love In The Milky Way Looking In The Eyes Of Love Somebody For Someone (Acoustic) No More Cry (Acoustic) At Your Side (Acoustic) When The Stars Go Blue (Feat. Bono) Dreams (Tee's Radio Mix) So Young (K Klass Remix) What Can I Do (Tin Tin Out Remix) Radio (Unplugged) Goodbye (2006 Remix) There's nothing new on this CD, unless "No Frontiers" is a studio track. However, there are some good things about this CD. It provides some of the tracks that were only on the In Blue Spec. Ed. bonus CD. It is also a great price for a 3-CD set. It's also a nice cover, I think. Hopefully, it will turn some people on to the music.

I think it's another great compilation album from The Corrs.

Thanks for the info, Steve, & Nyoman... I LOVE the cover!!! I hadn't heard too much about this CD set (other than the negative comments on another *koff* board I visit... ) But, all in all, now I've seen the track list, even dispite the lack of any unreleased material, it still looks like a pretty good compilation, imo... Also has alot of my favourite tracks included.. I might buy that, if I saw it in a shop, & the price was reasonable... I've seen this sort of thing happen over and over, with Abba & Roxette... so, why not the Corrs too?? Perhaps someone who's never bought their music before will buy this, & come to love the music of the Corrs, just as we do... ;D

Thanks Nyoman and well-said, Linda! It's nice to hear something positive for a change about this release. I couldn't believe that some so-called "fans" at the Corrs Club wrote that we should ignore this release, and one even encouraged others to camp out in front of Virgin Records and *koff* picket and boycott the album! (Personally, I think this would have increased sales, hihi ) Others seem to be complaining about the picture being an old one from 2000. Duh! It's a " retrospective"!!! What do they expect? I can't believe such negativity. Geez, if they don't want the album they shouldn't buy it, but to actually write " I really wish nobody will buy it" is ludicrous. If this CD is value priced (3 CDs for the price of about 1), I still think it might do okay and maybe catch on through word-of-mouth. I'm a good example of someone who discovered the music of the Corrs well after the fact. I didn't hear 95% of their music until 2004. This might be a good way to share the Corrs music with friends. It's a good collection.

It's okay. You didn't offend ME. And, this time, I agree with you! It looks like Amazon.uk is selling the compilation here: www.amazon.co.uk/Works-Corrs/dp/B000UF9KWO/It's a good indication that the release is likely to be by Rhino UK, but I don't see anything at the Rhino UK website either... www.rhino.co.uk/.

BTW, Steve or (anybody), do you know what kind version of "No Frontiers" will be in that album? Unplugged or other version, maybe?? ?? Thanks for the info and for the link, Steve. ;D

You're welcome. BTW, Steve or (anybody), do you know what kind version of "No Frontiers" will be in that album? Unplugged or other version, maybe?? ?? Nyoman, I think it will be the MTV Unplugged version. I know it doesn't say "unplugged" next to it in parentheses on the tracklist, but so far we have only ever had one version of "No Frontiers" by the Corrs on CD, and that was the MTV Unplugged version. Looking at the Rhino UK website, it seems that one of their specialties is compilation sets of existing recordings. I doubt that this record release would involve a studio session by the Corrs to re-record the song, or even a remix of the kind that they did with "When The Stars Go Blue" on the Dreams CD.
