The Effect of Andrea's Acting Career on the Band?

What will it mean for the band if Andrea gets serious about acting?

From a recent article in the Boston Herald:

Corr, 30, may be her band's lead vocalist, but acting has always been her passion.

"I really do want this - for the right reasons," she said. "It's not presumptuous because otherwise I could absolutely rest on my laurels and go, 'I'm really happy with the respect that I have from our music and for what I've done in life.' I don't need to walk into a whole other area where I open myself up for criticism. I'm not a stupid girl. I'd really only do that if I was terribly passionate about it - and I am. So I'm very careful about it then, too. I hate the idea of pop stars in movies."

What's going to happen to the MUSIC?

I don´t think we have to worry about what might happen to the music. I think Andrea´s all passionate about both, acting and music...I think we can expect great things...I don´t think her acting will have a negative effect on the band. They´ll find ways. They also did when Caro got pregnant (two times)....

I think what will happen is Andrea's movie career will bring much neede publicity to the band here in the states:)

I met a lady in Portland who never heard of the band and after the movie I told her about Andrea as a singer and now she knows the band:)

Really?that's very intersting,but like i said if she will become an actress her band will be more known

Most of the people that I've asked about The Corrs don't have any clue as to who they are. I can't believe that. Even some of my own friends don't know who they are.

It has great effect!!! Any must share her concentration. She shouldn't too busy. If that happens, Andrea can't play music "from her heart".

I know the feeling, Crystal. That's why I feel compelled to "spread the word" about the Corrs, since the radio stations apparently do not.
