I just realized that up until now I never had a talk with someone about the song „Rainy day“. Neither did I ever read a post or whatsoever related to that song. It´s as though it is either being ignored or just not known by too many people. Which is a pity, I believe. The song definatly counts to my top 10 Corrs songs. One of their earlier songs. I find it really beautiful, kind of uplifting. And not to forget that it´s got those make-you-want-to-smile violin lines…

"Rainy Day" is one of the songs that gets lost in the shuffle. As far as I know, it appears only on the Japanese CD The Corrs Live. It is a catchy little upbeat tune that showcases the Corrs' great ability to construct a pop song. I never bothered to look at the lyrics until now. Here's the first verse: A bomb drops and no one stirs On a lazy summer's evening Seated with a man She knows she shouldn't be with But in his eyes there lies surprise Something she's been needing A certain touch within her voice Can tell you what's she's feelingSounds like Andrea's lyrics... but what do they mean really? Help me, SingleTunePoet!!
