This year's songs are available at ESC MediaLounge. The official Eurovision Song Contest channel on YouTube also has a lot of videos. LINK So far my favorite is Russia (Dima Bilan, "Believe"). Beautiful ballad and I like the way Dima performes the song. I like this one. A lot. ;D

Thanks, Sanna! I've looked a many of those videos, but I still haven't found my favourite! I do know, however, that Estonia won't be it.

I don't like Estonia's song either. Three unfunny comedians are "singing" in Serbian, German and Finnish. And I'm not exactly a fan of Ireland's this year's entry.

Thanks for the information and for the link, Sanna! Unfortunately, because of the difference in time zones, I am at work when they're having this live. So we'll have another set of countries selected for the finals, right?

Finland's national final was on 31st of January. It was held in Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre so naturally I was there. It was a great evening, the Eurovision concerts are the best. Maybe not musically the best but the atmosphere is always amazing. The stage before the TV broadcast. The hosts Jaana Pelkonen and Mikko "Peltsi" Peltola. Teräsbetoni (who represented Finland last year) performed "Missä Miehet Ratsastaa". Before the actual final a so called "second chance" was held. 6 non-qualifiers from the semi finals performed and 2 artists who got the most votes went to the final. Passionworks feat. Tony Turunen - Surrender (went to the final) Tiara - Manala (eliminated) Riikka - Meren (eliminated) Vink - The Greatest Plan (went to the final) Janita - Martian (eliminated) Sani - Doctor, Doctor (eliminated) The FinalKwan - 10 000 Light YearsJari Sillanpää - Kirkas kipinäSignmark feat. Osmo Ikonen - SpeakerboxTapani Kansa - Rakkautta on, rauhaa eiWaldo's People - Lose ControlRemu - PlaneettaPassionworks feat. Tony Turunen - SurrenderVink - The Greatest PlanThe final's interval act was Northern Kings (Marco Hietala (Nightwish), Tony Kakko (Sonata Arctica), Jarkko Ahola (Teräsbetoni) and JP Leppäluoto (Charon)). They performed A-ha's Take On Me. From the final 3 songs that got the most votes went to the "super final". Signmark feat. Osmo Ikonen - Speakerbox Waldo's People - Lose Control Passionworks feat. Tony Turunen - Surrender The results are being announced. 1. Waldo's People - Lose Control - 45.1% 2. Signmark feat. Osmo Ikonen - Speakerbox - 42.1% 3. Passionworks - Surrender - 13.7% The winner's performance

Thanks Sanna for all this information on Eurovision 2009; Indeed it will be held May 16 (This day me recall something ), and for the France it's Patricia Kass who will represent my country, Patricia is a French singer, famous in France, she's of Alsacienne (French region) and is known for his great voice. The song she will sing is called "S'il fallait le faire" Good luck from Finland (Good Song), but I'm sorry I think what this year it's for the France (I hope because it's a longtime what we win) Bernard
