Lets see... Oh, yeah!!! I was in a car with my Dad, when I heard "Runaway" on the radio for the first time... it was magic!!! And I go "What's the name of that girl?" (Didn't know at the time that it was a group!!!), and two weeks later, my Dad offered me "Talk on Corners"!!! Everytime I hear that song, I live that moment again!!!

I heard "Breathless" on the radio years ago but never found out what it was called or who sung it. Then I stopped hearing, forgot what it sounded like and in the end forgot it altogether. Then some years later I heard it on an episode of "Charmed" and When I find out what "The English subtitles for the hearing impaired" were (more detail than just the normal subtitles) I put them on hoping the lyrics would come up (I'm no good at picking up lyrics!) But all it came up with was 'The Corrs "Breathless" playing' I'd never heard of them at the time (and that was only 3 years ago) then I heard "What can I do" on TOTPs(Top of the Pops) and the next time I went to a cd shop I went looking. but I didn't pay attention to the albums names or the other songs! I was just looking for a cd with those two on it. when I listened to cd I recognised "So Young" (But I'd never new the lyric was "so young"!) and "Runaway" which was a song I heard in a music lesson

It's interesting that so many people seem to have discovered the Corrs by seeing or hearing them on television rather than radio. I had the same experience of being vaguely aware of "Breathless" but never really paying much attention. At the time it was playing, Shania Twain was huge and I actually thought that it was just another song of hers. I think that must have been "Mutt" Lange's (Shania's ex-husband) influence on the song. I have discover The Corrs thanks to a friend who lives in Dublin, I visited her on July 15th, 1999 to visit R.E.M. in concert has lansdown road on July 16th, 1999, after the concert she to ask me to stay 1 day more because she had tickets for another concert at lansdown road the next day;I have discovered The Corrs during the concert lansdown road, I can never thank my friend for this unforgettable concert; one of the greatest weekend of my life That's just so freaking unbelievable that you went to the Lansdowne Road on your second day of knowing about the Corrs! Talk about LUCK! ;D

I used to listen "breathless" on the radio and I didn't know who was singing. I loved the song, during years... until I see the band in TV. I found the official and fan sites, watching videos, and I bought the "best of". During months I hadn't heard nothing else... and I'm still addicted.
One thing: I play violin and I become so happy when I knew there was a violinist... Sharon is my favourite member...

jviolin14, it's nice to have you here! So I'm not the only one who heard "Breathless" and didn't know who sang it. ;D Your story sounds a lot like mine.
