Ok, just a short post to tell Swanny which book she has to read first. I´m already halfway out of the door, but I still have time for this. So, at first you have to read "Summer´s Child" and then you go on with "Summer of Roses". But, when you start reading the books you´ll notice which one is the first anyway, because the second one starts with a short summary of what had happened in the first book. Have fun, I know you´ll enjoy it!!!

Sabine: Ah, THANK YOU! That´s what I was waiting for. Haha, I was seriously sitting here with the book in my hands not daring to start reading before I wasn´t 100% sure. So now I can finally start to read it. YAY! Thankies. By the way, I have an odd image of you in front of me eyes now with your computer clamped under your arm, while you´re balancing the screen on your hand, grabbing for the doorknob with the other one. And you´re typing with your nose, ´cause there´s no hand free for typing. So thanks for taking the effort to let me know which book to read first. Hihi. @steve: Swantje, I am reading Arnold Lobel's "Days With Frog And Toad" (an "I CAN READ" book). It's really great! I should have it finished within the week! I will share with you the opening of the first story called "Tomorrow" : Toad woke up. "Drat!" he said. "This house is a mess. I have so much work to do." Frog looked through the window. "Toad, you are right," said Frog. "It's a mess." Toad pulled the covers over his head.
"I will do it tomorrow," said Toad. "Today I will take life easy."This is great summer reading, I tell you! Hihi, how come I only saw you posting this now?! I must have been blind again. *lol* So did you finish reading it yet? Hehe. I can tell you I loved both "Frog&Toad" books that you got me! Though they´re children´s books, we adults can learn a lot from them, too! How´s the Harry Potter reading going? Cynthia and I found out yesterday...JK Rowling stands for "Just Kidding Rowling"! Haha. @caro: Tonight I had this funny dream about "Can you keep a secret and guess who was Emma in the dream? It was YOU! Hihi.

Damn, it´s really urgent that you get a new mobile Swanny, I was about to text you a dozen times, already having my mobile in my hand when it occurs to me that it´s not possible. Have you already started "Summer´s Child"? How do you like it? I wanna know everything, hahaha.

OMG, I was about to post this yesterday, 5 minutes after beginning to read "Summer´s Child" but I never managed to do so. Anyway, I only read 5 chapters so far but I was gripped after one page already! I LOVE the way Luanne Rice writes! It´s unbelievable but I am reminded of Jewel (Kilcher)´s way of writing SO MUCH. As if they are writing twins or something. Luanne has a wonderful way to capture the beauty of the landscape and nature with her words! And she writes so enjoyably (Is that even a wrod? Probably not.) detailed. I love that! And the story is really gripping. At first I had to get used to the switches from character to character to character but it has a fantastic effect in that way that the reader is forced to read more and more in order to find out what´s going on. Oh, the story is so stirring and gripping...I will have to read more tonight! It´s addictive. Hihi.

PS: And heck, yes I NEED a new cell phone! I find myself wanting to send you SMSs and then I wake up and remember that I can´t. Or I go into my room just to check my mobile for messages from anyone and then I remember that the damn thing doesn´t work anymore.

As usual, I'm pretty *lost* as to what goes on in this topic! Except CARROTS and OREOS, haha! But I did want to share that I loaned P.S. I Love You to a lady named Norma from my work. She is the one who loaned me all of the Harry Potter series (which I am enjoying, by the way, except I start reading too late every night and I get sleepy after only a few pages...) Buuut... I passed Norma in the halls two days ago and she stopped me, got this BIG smile on her face and said that she is halfway through P.S. I Love You, and that she looooves it. ;D I finished Days With Frog And Toad - excellent book! hihihi

Hey Caro! You do know what Oreos are. Do you remember these cookies we ate on Swanny´s birthday? These black ones with the white cream in between? These are Oreos. I remember that you really liked them. Ok, the shopaholic book. I´m on page 114 now and I get the feeling that it´s getting more gripping now. I also think that it´s not as funny and gripping as "Can you keep a secret" or "The undomestic goddess", but I get the feeling that it´s getting better now. Some pages ago there was that scene when Rebecca found out some secret about her colleague from work and I hope that this will turn around the story. But, hey, it was Sophie´s first book ever, so maybe she was still trying at that stage, so I don´t give up hoping for a funny story.

Hey Steve!
Cooooool that you turned your colleague in an Ahern Fan. But, it´s probably impossible not to like Cecelia once you´ve started reading her books. She´s just sooooo great.
Will you lend your colleague the other books, too?

Will you lend your colleague the other books, too? I think you're right, Sabine! All one has to do is hand the book to another person, and Cecelia does the rest. I will lend her the other books once I have read them, but there is a good chance that Norma won't be able to wait and she will go get them on her own.
