I found the "Rox Box" on line, @ amazon.com for $90 ...I'm thinking USD ?? ...Phew!!!! ...That's a little steep, so I'll have to wait till it comes down abit.. LOL!!!! I also found the "Hits" CD, with bonus DVD recently... But, had to pass, unfortunately, as I didn't want to buy it twice.. Good price tho.. Ah well.. I haven't given up on the "Box" ...Maybe I'll find it cheaper in time.. A guy I talked to at the music store, in Vancouver, said it's not yet released in Canada... So, who knows??!! Maybe if you... JUST WOULD READ THE POST ABOVE you would see that it's available for $61.60, much less than the Amazon price. Hihihihihi! You funny!!! www.thestore24.com/Product.aspx?prodid=EMDI367972.2Linda, if you are planning on getting the RoxBox, don't bother with the Hits CD - just go for the "full Monty." I ordered it from this outfit and they shipped me the Australian release, which is a Region 0 PAL which plays without any problems on my Region 1 DVD player. I am really enjoying it, too. I has all the videos ever made and the Roxette MTV Unplugged concert.

Yes, Cynni, I have been listening to #4 quite a bit also for the new songs. I also I am really liking "A Thing About You" recently. I have often read that MELODY is an important component in the traditional music of Sweden. Too, I'm part Swedish, so that's maybe why I love a good melody. But I always thought that Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus of ABBA wrote great melodies, and now the RoxBox is a great showcase of the songwriting talent of Per Gessle. But NOT just Per, Marie wrote both the words and music to "New World", "Little Girl" and "All I Ever Wanted." She also wrote the music to "Watercolours In The Rain."

LindaJ, I was wondering what you're answer would be to this question that I asked a little while ago: But those of you who are long-time fans of Roxette, what are your favourite songs? And Cynni, what are your top 15 Roxette songs? I am still working out my Top 15, but I definitely know about 10 now that would make my list...

Awesome list, Cynni! ;D "My World, My Love, My Life" is such a gorgeous song - Marie's lead vocals and harmonies are absolutely stunningly perfect. And what song-crafting by Per on that one. It could very well top my list of Roxette songs and, yet, it wasn't included in the RoxBox.

That is right, it did not make the Rox box But at least it made "Room Service" and that is cool too What songs do you not know Linda? Maybe I can help you out with the songs Just let me know The sweet hello, the sad goodbye will always be my number one song by Roxette. Also because it was one of the favorites from my grandma (together with "Almost Unreal")..... The lyrics and melody are just so good and strong...

*yay* Thanks, Linda for making that list! I can already tell you that quite a few of the songs that you placed on your list will be on mine as well. "Crash, Boom Bang" is just one on your list that I really enjoy. Steve... I would like to know your top 15 Roxette songs too??!!! If you already posted it... Please tell me where, cos I think I must've missed it?? ;D Yes, Linda, I haven't made my list yet. I'm still absorbing the Roxette catalog and there are many songs that I haven't yet gotten to know well. For instance, I am liking "Little Girl" right now and getting the song "into my blood." (It's interesting to know that "Little Girl" is a song that was composed by Marie Fredriksson.) Two weeks ago it was "A Thing About You." Before that is was "Fingertips" from Unplugged and "So Far Away" from Tourism. I'm really happy to have your list. I will be listening to your picks, as I did with Cynthia and Brownie's lists. *runs off to listen to "Do You Get Excited?"*

Yep, Scott... They do sing "It Must've Been Love"...One of their best known songs, I'd say... I'm always hearing it played over the store's air-waves at work.. ;D But, they have sooo many other great songs, which unfortunately don't get alot of air play, in Canada or the US... Whic is a shame... Glad to hear you liked my list, Steve... I'm looking forward to your's too... Some of the songs you mentioned above, such as, "Little Girl" ...I like those too, I'd forgotten about them!! ;D Have you heard "Before You Go To Sleep", on the "Crash" album?? A nice song, also written by Marie... I haven't heard, or even seen an "Unplugged" album tho... hmmm... Must look into that...
